It probably goes without saying now, but chapter's out.
I guess it's good that he had Escanor say he's struggling right now and that Estarossa and Zeldris are obviously not dead, but still a bad taste in my mouth.
Derrierie seems really pissed off by this situation. I wonder why...
Also, who is this queen they kept mentioning, the Caroline (the queen) is definitely dead.

I think her anger is at seeing a Goddess. The two sides were at war for who knows how long and seem to hate each other on general principle if them wanting Ban to kill Melodias is any indication.
One Strip! One Strip! For the record, when Mangastream said "queen" it was supposed to be "princesses". They use the same kanji but in the opposite order, but that's still a stupid mistake for them to make.
Also, Escanor said that Rhitta can barely contain his power, not that he's struggling to control Rhitta.
So, Estarossa and Zeldris are still alive, chances of them redeeming their credibility?

Villain training arc please.
Hopefully Derrierre put up a good fight. I like her nonchalant attitude and her interactions with Monspiet.
Wonder if she's like that against any goddess, or just this one specific goddess.
Also apparently you can see a brief image of a goddess in Denzel's sword during his confrontation with Fraudrin. Nice bit of foreshadowing there.
I'm fine with Escanor being as strong as he is. I think the writer wants to keep him at max as the strongest of the Sins, even after all the rest train to Commandment level.
What would be the point in that?
I hope we find out what Escanor was doing during the timeskip. It seems pretty silly to have a guy who could probably curbstomp most of the Commandments doing nothing until now.
To keep Escanor within his role in the Sins. Like, lets say that Escanor at 100% is 100,000, all the other Sins train up from 3,000-5,000 to 40,000-60,000, Escanor is still the strongest, but the other Sins are now much stronger in comparison. I thought it was obvious that's where they were going when Escanor at 100% was revealed to be stronger than Meliodas in his prime, and we all know Escanor's not going to be training to get stronger.
Fuck Escanor.
There, I said it. I absolutely cannot stand him now. He's Kenpachi level
Honestly, I think it's likely that we will never see anyone stronger than Escanor at noon, and that his max power is a ceiling and a benchmark putting a definite limit on Power Creep.
Except for the goddesses
Mileena MadnessThe author has already said that Arthur has the potential to surpass all of the Sins so that's at least one character. I also wouldn't be surprised if Elizabeth's hidden potential exceeds Escanor's.
Honestly, when we were told his power has an actual peak, where it does not get stronger, that should have told everyone that it was eventually going to get surpassed, most likely in a very dramatic moment. By who and the circumstances of the reveal might be in question, but him always being the strongest character ever is just ridiculous on its face.
Edit: And you say him losing his place like it's a bad thing. Honestly, seeing how he deals with not being the strongest and being defeated are probably the only things that could make him interesting at this point.

So I wonder how much the Ten Commandments know about Meliodas' situation. Like, they didn't seem surprised he was still alive and looked the same but they seem to think he's just dead. So, what's the deal with that?
Apparently the Demon King did it so you'd think they'd know ho it works but apparently not? And do they know the Demon King is in Purgatory? Are the goddesses the reason he's there? So many questions.
Finally a Ten Commandment cover...
Mileena MadnessChapter's out.
Well, I suppose that answers why she was so pissed...
Last week I decided to make this chapter the series last chance to win my interest back and it kind of succeeded? The goddesses slaughtering demon children both makes the goddesses less sympathetic and the demons more. I mean, the demons have all been super dicks so far but you usually don't emphasize that yes, the evil villain race does have children, their children are defenseless and they definitely care about them greatly.
I guess for now I'll try staying for the story and any fight can be considered nap time by default.

Well thats most clumsy exposition/diplomacy I have ever read "Sure we did all these war crimes that I'm now going to list in detail, but surely we can talk this out"
That's how I am with most manga, by default.
But anyway, The Four Great Angels, huh? Subtle foreshadowing there.

x2 Clearly the Goddesses prefer to talk their way out of unwinnable situations so they can stab them in the back later.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Good thing Derrierre didn't job. I adore her relationship with Monspiet.
Well, there are no surprises here. Of couse the Goddesses pulled a dick move like that. I never had any doubt.
One Strip! One Strip!Awww, I was all ready to throw this page at you.
I'd forgotten about that.
That being said, since it was brought up in universe first, I think I'm good.
One Strip! One Strip!
It's more like they're underdogs...until the very moment they get a power up in which case he won't let them do anything but dominate.
Again, Escanor is the most obvious case, but even with Meliodas, they said he couldn't take Dolor and Gloxinia together, but none of their attacks actually did anything to him and they landed a fair number of them.
At this point I'm half expect to King to oneshot Gloxinia when he grows wings and Diane to do the same to Dolor when she gets a dance power up.
And about the spoilers:
It's good that Estarossa is apparently alive but bad that he and Zeldris just get casually batted away.
This is the second time he's done the "Escanor needs to move away before noon" thing. I'd be okay with that, if it obviously wasn't just a convenient excuse to keep him from soloing everyone else. And it's not even a good excuse because he has no reason to believe anyone else there can stand up to them.
I would be happy about getting to see more about Derrierie, but now it's hard for me to not cynically think she's just going to be used as fodder to show off a goddess' power.
