"She's faking it!"
"And then there's Maude! And then there's Maude!"
Barney saying that David Crosby was his hero without knowing that he's a musician.
"Grover Cleveland spanked me on two non-consecutive occasions!"
There are MANY more.

The enemy list of Moe's
Also this, not sure about the very last part still,if it is referencing something.
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterThe last part is a reference to the old TV sitcom Dobie Gillis.
Maynard G. Krebs was the title character's beatnik friend who had a compulsive hatred of work, going into seizures whenever he heard the word. (He was played by Bob Denver, before Gilligans Island.)
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Don't get the David Crosby gag.
"YOU FILTHY SWINE!!! I WILL KEEEEL YOU!!!David Crosby has a very long history of drug and alcohol issues. He busted for a DUI right around the time "Homer's Barbershop Quartet" took place (1985). Barney was impressed with his alcoholism.
In another episode, he was Lionel Hutz's AA sponsor.

A lot of the jokes that referenced Johnny Carson's Tonight Show (ie, homer eating the potato chips shaped like celebrities, drunk sideshow mel insulting krusty).
We've been rewatching some of the earlier seasons, and this gag stood out.
At the end of an episode revolving around Marge being tempted by the prospect of an extramarital affair, she surprises Homer at work and he carries her out. One of his coworkers asks what he should tell the boss, and Homer announces triumphantly, "Tell him that I'm going to the backseat of my car with the woman I love and I won't be back for TEN MINUTES!!!"
Now that I'm older than single-digits, I was able to catch the fact that the writers were sniping Homer with a joke about him being a terrible lover right there in the middle of his heartwarming romantic denouement. XD
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Huh, i always thought the joke was that it was just going to be a quickie, which wasn't really appropriate for the context (he should have just gone home and taken her to bed).
If you're good enough, ten minutes is all you need
One thing i got only recently from reading stuff here, there was a moment in the episode where Bleeding Gums Murphy died where Lisa has a "figure in the sky" hallucination of Murphy, along with Darth Vader, Mufasa, and some guy from CNN. Mufasa stumbles over his line, saying first Kimba before he says Simba.
Never drew the connection until very recently.
Huge KI:U and Smash fan by the way.
For me, Bart's report card in Homer's Oddyssey (3rd episode)

Seems like a way to pass FU through the censors, considering it's the only one of those that isn't used in US elementary schools.
Homer and Bart are dragged to the Knowledgeum" by Marge and Lisa.
Bart: ...I smell a museum.
Homer: Yeah....good things don't end with eum...they end with mania, or teria.
A well-hidden reference to Def Leppard's two best-selling albums, Pyromania, and Hysteria.
