Horrible. The King Of Hate. This strikes me as problematic since it's the only work-specific section of So Bad It's Horrible. Should it be trimmed and moved back to Horrible.Lets Play? A few of the entries, such as "He also makes a rant about Troy Baker at the end of Bioshock Infinite he just does not like this man.", seem to smack of baseless complaining of the King of Hate, whoever he is.

I think it would be better if we just moved it back to the Let's Plays and then just list some of his infamous ones with either video links to the Let's Plays or to the "This is how you don't play" videos.

Though I think whether the page should stay depends on whether you view a Let's Player as a creator or a series.

Would there be any reason we can't just put all of the page's content into a folder on the Horrible.Lets Play page? Only listing the worst moments would unnecessarily reduce the amount of content.

Well, if you list that under Horrible.Lets Play it would almost double the size of that page.

How in the world did this get its own page? This is a bad idea. That page will quickly spiral out of control with everybody finding anything to justify putting it on that page. It'll quickly become a place to bash a person in real life.

It's clear that this page needs to go and Phil needs a more compact description. We don't need to list every horrible Let's Play he's ever done.

[up][up] Yes. Judging by the fact that he has his own subpage, he is a horrible Lets Player in general and only needs a single bullet description only listing the flaws present in every one of his Lets Plays.

^^DMOS is a list of moments a given troper finds bad. Very different from a Horrible page that needs far broader disapproval.

As the guy who originally made the page, I just want to say I don't see what the problem here is. His examples took up more than half the page so I just followed the usual protocol and split them up.

However, I have no problem with this page being cutlisted should that happen. Peace.

[up] It's not always usual protocol to split them up. First, it's better to see if the information you want to split to a page can be condensed. Honestly, it's really getting annoying how more information kept getting added. I had to condense it twice and it still kept growing.

Still don't see a problem with splitting it in the first place, but I already gave my opinion on the page's fate.

Honestly, I think that we should just give The King of Hate (or DarkSydePhil) his own folder on the main Horrible.Lets Plays subpage. AFAIK, no other particular creator has their own subpage under So Bad, It's Good or So Bad, It's Horrible, so the splitting of DSP's page is a bit of an exception. I'm not trying to say that it shouldn't be done (I definitely think that there should be a record of how bad his LPs can get), just that it's a bit unusual.

I think giving him his own folder on Horrible.Lets Play is a good idea. Should we just do that?

I moved it before, I can just move it back.

EDIT: There, it's done. putting the now blank page on the cutlist.

While this thread is somewhat supportive of merging the pages back, you shouldn't blank it - cutlisting is the whole job. Also, given the large number of inbounds, I would consider a redirect.

[up] Yes, with over 600 inbounds a straight cut is out of the question. Making the page a redirect will do.

Redirect added. Damn though, 600+ rebounds in 3 months?

Well, this one was cut after all, so locking.
