If we did make a clan, what would be our goal(s)?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. To protect the world from devastation
To unite all peoples within our nation
To denounce the evils of truth and love
To extend our reach to the stars above...
To continue with the invasion of the world.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300To ruin lives all over the world.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."And to make everyone unintelligible by talking completely in trope names.
Also, I decided to give the regular blaster a try. The increased range over the Luna is definitely nice, but it's much more situational and you have to aim more precisely due to do the smaller explosions.
In other news, I had the jankiest lag thing happen in Tower Control earlier today. I was riding the tower toward the enemy base on the museum level. An enemy jumped on the tower and we did that thing were we sort of flailed at each other for a second. Then he fell off, so I turned my attention back to the other guys... and he teleported back onto the tower somehow and killed me. Like, I saw him fall into the water, and a second later the exact same guy (same weapons and gear) was suddenly right there.

Reaction Image RepositoryPlease tell me he was using a snorkel.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."How would the snorkel mask help in that situation?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Unfortunately not, but that would've been pretty funny.
Reaction Image RepositoryNice.
I had a pretty nice triple kill in ranked. One of my teammates died while holding the rainmaker. As that happened, I was in the middle of my suction bomb rush. I threw the last few bombs towards the rainmaker, the shield came back and promptly exploded in my team's ink, and I saw three splatted inkling icons on my screen. I then took the rainmaker and further solidified my team's lead in that round.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Ultra nice.
I, uh... Missed.
The Rainmaker platform.
As in seriously going right up it and just... missing.
Thankfully we didn't lose the Rainmaker, someone else picked it back up. I've been making up for it, though! I've been helping or actually landing it properly these last few rounds.
Uh, especially just now. I seriously think I got the Rainmaker in before my Opening Gambit ran out.

mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's mean30 second knockout? Must have been either really awesome game or the enemy team was just fiddling their tentacles.
I'd be thoroughly impressed if a team can win a round of RM before Opening Gabit wears out.
Also Rivux, since I don't think any of use here, aside from you, use OG, how do you plan out your first 30 seconds of a match?
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff. They were definitely twiddling if I had a long open runaway right to the platform. Either that or they somehow all died? In retrospect it probably wasn't in the first 30 seconds, but it still felt pretty dang intense in the moment.
My first 30 seconds are usually just "rush in, lay down a bunch of ink, and attempt some kind of solid push." Since it does give you a giant speed boost it's pretty easy to be one of the first to the objective.
If I was patient enough to level up the rest my gear, though, I'd rather not use Opening Gambit. It's kind of a hit or miss if I'm not immediately on the target, and that's kinda stage dependent I feel? Or weapon dependent? I haven't experimented a whole bunch with it, I've mostly just been using the Carbon Roller Deco.
mario is red, i am green, i try my best, but everyone's meanYup, a Splatoon hacking video that isn't just mindlessly trolling some poor sods online. Someone edited the green squid's amiibo stages. Remember those headache inducing limited ink challenges? Well, try beating DJ Octavio with only 5 tanks of ink. Spoilers: the player failed right near the end.
Also, custom amiibo models.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!IMO, the "live" squid "sisters" concerts look kinda bad.
The animation on the giant bobble headed squid waifus just seems so janky and unnatural.
Cute memeverse art tho. Wish I could draw worth shit.
You've never watched them move during Splatfests, have you?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987And probably one of the most useful graphs◊ representing the diminishing returns of stackable abilities.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Had a pretty sick run on Ranked. I'm up to S 48 now.
I also learned that Bomb Sniffer, while my preferred (exclusive) shoe ability, isn't cutting it as well as I'd like. I'm thinking on switching to Ink Resistance in order to be more mobile in enemy ink.
Ink Resistance also reduces how much damage standing in enemy ink does to you, I believe.
Though I say it's not the most optimal ability for a rapid fire and high ink efficiency weapon, but certainly helpful for slow fire rate or wind-up time weapons. And ink hogs.
I would also add that ink resistance is useful when using a short range weapon. Sure, the O-matics would fall under the "rapid fire and high ink efficiency weapon" that you describe, but if I'm going for kills I have be up close to my enemy. I'm very likely to be in enemy ink in that situation.
Your reasoning for using ink resistance for a slow firing ink hogging weapon is something I didn't consider. Now I am more compelled to get those Blue Moto Boots for my Berry Pro.
We are all made of star stuff. Very, very weird star stuff.Well, something like a Blaster would really struggle if caught in enemy ink methinks. The slow fire rate can make it tough to get out in a hectic sitatuion.
Splatlings too would end up taking a ton of passive damage if they wandered to enemy ink during their spin up. And we all know how terrible splatlings are at inking if you just button mash.
Oh, but weapons with poor mobility while firing probably get screwed over by stepping on enemy ink pretty hard, so those too can get a big help from Ink Resist.
Then again, all weapons do.
I've tended to prefer to improve other areas of my squiddo, like bomb range and ink recovery rate, rather than use Ink Resistance lately, and I've done well. The big exception is the .52 Gal I've been trying again lately, with which I've performed significantly better with some Ink Resistance on.
Not sure why that one in particular, seeing how I've used the even more ink hogging Splattershot Pro without it without that much trouble. Maybe it has to do with the Pro's better range and accuracy making accidental steps into enemy ink during combat less common.
