New weapon revealed

Basically a Charger with shorter charge times and less range. Hard to say without seeing it in action, but I feel that, though this is not going to much use in a heated fire fight, it might just be an excellent ambush weapon for the more sneaky folks amongst us.

Splatoon amiibo pack is up at Walmart. Grab it while you can. I know I did.

I got it mine in and am waiting.

Was kinda worried it'd sell out, because I had to make a walmart online account. But I got it in.

I just preordered an edition of the game which also includes the Squid Amiibo.

With luck, I can track down the other two as well eventually.

If you got the special edition with the green, then you're

A) Not in america (Which in hindsight makes sense, as you are in Amsterdam) and

B) Lucky enough to get the tough one locked in. The other two aren't special edition, so I have no doubt they will be more readily accessible later.

Whelp, I tried to find a preorder at a place that would accept my money (I don't do credit cards). Finally found a site that had both the boy and girl, placed the order and threw money at them.

Now it's time to hope it sticks. Because the webshop I ordered from was under construction, and there is a very decent chance that I was the first to order from them. At all. Seriously, my order code was a bunch of zeros followed by a one.

Would be incredibly fortunate if it did stick.

Nintendo has plans for some post launch content for Splatoon.

You know if they decided to just add a second campaign via DLC I don't think I'd complain.

OR, you know, most things because Nintendo does DLC pretty decently.

That doesn't necessarily mean paid DLC (though that will definitely happen). Post launch support can easily mean just balance tweaks, adding in new modes, and other small stuff that's easy to do.

If this is even half as good as Hyrule Warrior's DLC is, it will be worth whatever price tag.

Boy, that's a bad case of cherry picking. The gamnesia article made it sound far worse than what IGN actually said.

It's unfortunate this game won't have 4 player split-screen play.

I am so fukken hype for this game, and those predictions did not help.

Lady said if they happen to get extras of the amiibo 3 pack, I might be able to get one that way. I just wonder how much it costs.

I got the 3-pack for like 35 dollars.

They aren't expensive, just disproportionately rare.
