That's never a problem as long as it doesn't hurt the overall legibility/clarity of the pic.
In that case if it works for you guys, works for me.
So we're going with that pic then?
I think the first frame in 1.1 is not necessary.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. We're not talking about 1.1 now :/
That's odd, because "we" is you and me, and I am talking about it, so that is not true.
The image I suggested in #24 is the same as the image in #1, minus the first frame, and I was explaining why I think that's better. Also, it is color-corrected.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Yes, that was my question in the first place, you just restated. Are we going with #24 then? "We" having the meaning here of everyone who has commented so far?

It looks like it's not intentional, but it seems like you are impatient or giving others commenting a hard time. If that is not what you mean to do, I recommend not posting in this thread any more, even to explain.
Yes, that seems like the image everyone agrees is best. No hurry though.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. No, I was giving you a hard time because you posted to bring up the original image again when I was already asking people about your image and had agreed to use it. I was just asking at the time if anyone opposed it.
That said, if you don't want an argument then don't try to start one or accuse me of doing so. I will post as I please and if you misinterpret what I say, that's not my problem nor my fault.
As for "no hurry", no, there isn't. But in general in life including my activities here, it's my experience that if someone doesn't push for something to be done, it doesn't get done, so I'd like to bring about a resolution since there seems to be agreement on what image to use.

I think the true problem between you two is "misunderstanding".
Anyway, I think 1.1 without the first frame is dangerously close to JAFAAC as it just shows two monsters/animals looking the same with a text claiming one of them transformed, whatever that means. It wouldn't show "Fighter" at all and would be really weak on "Ditto".
With both frames it would show "Ditto", but still be weak on "Fighter", which would be good enough.

For actually showing the "Fighter" part, there was this. Unfortunately given the rarity of good-quality Gen 6 Ditto vids, I'm not sure there's many more options aside from the Lapras one.
Not sure that's a good illustration since it fully relies on the text to get the "fighter" part across. Otherwise it's just two similar monsters facing each other and looks no different from Mirror Match.
I don't see how reliance on the text is a weakness, many trope pictures rely on comic scans with text to make the point.
What's actually not welcomed here is if it's just a face and a, em, "speech balloon(s)", for which it may as well be the page quote instead of being in the form of a picture.
Just because a picture's text-heavy doesn't mean we aren't welcoming it. Only if there's no form of action in some way (in other words, just people talking about it) that it's not allowed.
In this case, it's obvious that the Ditto's transformed into the Lapras, as well as the fact that both the Lapras and the transformed Ditto knew Body Slam.
I've hooked a crowner with the three multi-panel options suggested; should the one-panel one be added too?
Ah, okay, so it was intentional.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Bump for votes.
This is ready to call. The winner's up and tagged; I potholed it to Franchise.Pokemon but that may need to change to whichever game the pic's from.
Caption or no?
