IE the message would NEVER make sense until the proper context presented itself

I'm pretty sure if Liu Kang comes back, his first action will be to murder Raiden with more than extreme prejudice. And Raiden might very well let him.

They are at the end of MK 9 Quan Chi's personal Zombie/Revenant army

So them coming back isn't the problem... Its how much of a presence they would have? Would they be fully returning as Full time cast members? Or would they be NPC only battles etc etc

Do we know or sure that Ferra/Torr work for Kotal.

They show up as reinforcements with Reptile in the Comics

They're shown as Kotal's allies, yes. Erron Black is iffy now, however. He is Kotal's go-between for the Red Dragons and was shown working alongside Kano, who is working for a third-party himself. He kidnapped Cassie Cage without Kotal or Mavado being the one that got him to do it.

That puts it behind MK:Deception -9 Newbies, MK:2 -10 Newbies cause I don't count New Sub Zero- MK:Deadly Alliance -11 New and MK 3 -12-

For MX to have the most New Kombantants it would need 5 New Kombatants to break the record.

I get the factions confused.

I think Kano is loyal to Quan Chi in this, or was hired by him to take on Sub Zero. He was trying to pull a possession maneuver on Sub Zero like what happened to whats-his-face at Scorpion's dojo, and that was all Quan Chi.

I was really relieved when Johnny Cage came in and was a cool dude to Kotal. Sonya was and still is being hyper-aggressive and I was worried that the Earthrealm heroes were just going to be stupid dickbags this whole time.

Kotal must have the patience of a Glacier... Cause being accused of something and shot in the back before I can even register is something I'd take personally -Oh wait Sonya shot first and then accused him of kidnapping her daughter-

The Fact Kotal is still willing to be Civil after ALL the bullcrap Sonya has made him put up with...

I will surprised if Kotal doesn't declare war on Earthrealm once before the comics over. I mean Clearly Kotal and Earthrealm come to some type of argreement if the SF squad can just kinda walk into his territory

Considering he has his own problems in the game with the civil war, plus the fact that it didn't end well the last time he meddled with Earth, I doubt it.

That makes it sound like only female fans want him back, which isn't the case. I want him back because they never did anything with him taking over as Earthrealm's protector.

I was being mostly silly... cause come on, after Smoke, Fujin would register as at atleast 7 Sephiroths on the bishie scale.

Lets weigh the issues here

1. Mavado is basically picking a fight with Kano and Erron Black... with what appears to be just Mook support◊

2. The Red Dragons have not been brought up once in the main MKX stuff despite being fairly prominent in Comics.

Well I joke about Sonya's Malibu team. They were ridiclous -Mikka was probably the most normal- atleast they were kinda all over the place and had color
