Ho Yay?
Good morning.
I work from 10:30 to 2, so I won't probably be available to roleplay for about 6 and a half to 7 hours.
BTW, do you have a set way for how we draw our cards?
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Eyupp I got two methods. Some online application (like Dueling Network) or myself or some other third party will generate draws usin' spreadsheets and a random number generator.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI like the RNG myself. There's no time limit.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I've found it's best not to mix the two Philo. They get Duels finished staggered and people get bored waiting for everyone else to finish.
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Well players are open to both here.
I myself do prefer RNG method but if two players want to do it in Dueling Network then that's completely fine, as long as they link a final screen cap here and play out the last 2-4 turns of the duel in the thread.

GIVE ME YOUR FACEI'm not a fan of Dueling Network, so I'll go with RNG.
I'm indifferent. I mean, I prefer using DN, but I understand what anyone wants to use is their call and schedules can be a dick.
By the way, Daley uses sleeves on his cards. (And that's not because I want to order those sleeves for my RL decks so bad. Honest. Also, because it's easier if he shares my own fandoms.)

“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertI prefer the RNG.
Well both players have to agree to use an application if they like.
Anyways I'm just workin' out who will be facin' who for the first few posts. Normally I'd let you choose to face who you want, but this makes sense in the context of the RP.
Basically it'll be the first day of school with an assembly to greet all the freshmen. There'll be a 'Get To Know You Duel' where a first year is paired off with a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year. We've got some of all (save for 4th years) in our current player base so it works out. Sound good?
I'd like to start this Monday, though I'm a bit slow on the spreadsheet.
GIVE ME YOUR FACESounds good. I'd help with the spreadsheet, but I have pretty much no knowledge in the area.
“Not a promise, not an oath, or a malediction or a curse. Inevitable." - Taylor HebertThat sounds good to me.
Today would be better since Yugioh(the actual regular TCG at my locals) is effectively dead tourney-wise. But eh.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.For anyone playing against me, I'm fine with using Dueling Network.
I would prefer to use the RNG in my duels, but I'm cool with using DN.
Wait! ... Ok, you can go now.My internet's bein' wonky and I'm still not done those spreadsheets so we'll start tomorrow I guess.
GIVE ME YOUR FACEI've got the spreadsheet all set-up so we can begin.
"Oh but wait Philly! There's 9 of us which one of us won't get to duel!"
Don't worry. Everyone will get to duel. Now here are the match ups.
- Daley vs. Claire
- Leon vs. Jenzen
- Hadrian vs. Louis
- Winter vs. Apollo
- Salina vs. ???

GIVE ME YOUR FACESo one person doesn't get to duel a regular player... this'll be fun.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.I smell an antagonist.
Oh good, I get the joy of dueling the now-quite-good Star Seraphs. This'll be fun.

GIVE ME YOUR FACEoh man, I get the mystery GMPC. Now I don't know what to expect.
Irene, if you could try working with prose rather than action asterisks, I think that would make it a bit easier to read. Just a suggestion.
I was actually told by the GM that script/prose is up to the player themselves. That's why it wasn't noted in the sign-up sheets(to say the least, I don't do prose anymore(I am way too busy for that) and wouldn't have signed up if it was forced).
I do not feel comfortable with prose and am going to stick with script since it's most comfortable to me. I also made sure to make it extremely legible. There should be no confusion upon my actions with the way I wrote it either. I can use dashes instead of astericks if that works better, though, respectively. I could also use a color(perhaps blue) for my character's speech if that also helps. Still easier on me(to keep up with), and should be easier to tell.

...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Tis true. Players may use whatever style they like so long as it can be understood.
I'll wait for the rest of you to post and have some interactions before movin' on.
As well I'll be sendin' your startin' hands ahead of time.
And the hands have been sent.
As well the spreadsheet has been locked away so you can't tell what your opponent has.
