Tali or Legion in the vents, Jack or Samara for the biotics. I always have Mordin escort everyone.
Send Jacob in the vents, have Thane lead both strike teams, let Miranda put up the biotic field, send Grunt with the crew, take Zaeed and Garrus to the final battle.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."That's a recipe for having everyone killed, no?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Not if Zaeed and Garrus are loyal. Everyone else is screwed though.
I think maybe half the squad would survive, max.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."- I'm a REAPER DOOMSDAY DEVICE.
- OH SH—-!
Heh. They chose their thumbnail alright.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.And managed to have everybody survive, neat.
A damn shame 3 is not in Steam, not very fond of having to boot Origin for certain games...
You got that right. Shame having a universal platform for gaming is extremely unlikely in our lifetime. Why can't we just be all friends and have an omni-tool for everything?
Hitokiri in the streets, daishouri in the sheets.Because fuck monopolies?
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyOrigin really isn't as bad as people think it is. They have much better customer service than Steam, an actual return policy, and they regularly just give games away for free. Old games, but still.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I am more fond of the support Valve provides for already released games in contrast to those of EA. Personal opinion tho, and in any case, oligopolies are not that much better than monopolies...
Anyway, damn, I couldn't help but miss Mordin, Thane, Legion and even Kaidan in the Citadel party (and the simulator as well, although being able to go double Krogan and double Asari is quite neat). Goddammit, I started this franchise barely a month ago...
And the lack of banter in 2 was a bit of a letdown in hindsight; I can see the technicalities with such a large squad, but I would have liked to see Mordin and Grunt, or Thane and Samara, or Legion and, well, anybody, discuss some random stuff and the like.
A save before throwing the party and another before Chronos Station is customary for 3, right? I'm at 3200 or so effective war assets, so I guess I am free to choose the ending I want.
Also, another question for 3: Playing as a Soldier and using concusive shot and adrenaline rush very sparingly, should I just call it quits and stock up all 5 weapon slots?

Unless you really wanna abuse Adrenaline Rush just forget it all and bring every gun you can. That's what the soldier is for. Good old fashion firefighting all the way though.
Does the firepower and versatility make up for lack of proper powers? Personally I think so.
Oh really when?Damn, should have used the SMG-Assault Rifle combo sooner.
Also, finished up. After going full Paragon the entire trilogy, complete with optimal handling of Tuchanka and Rannoch, Control felt fitting. Reapers neutralized, everybody remains as-is. The mediator takes the burden of the decision, but remains influential. Synthesis is quite limited to the scope of a very shortsighted and poorly programmed VI, but still peaceful and may consider it for when (if) I play a Paragade. Destroy, well, for a Renegade is fitting, but, again, both genocide and killing of a friend are a bit too much for the character I played.
And Refusal is irresponsible and would only choose it if playing Sociopath Shepard. Which I may be physically imposible to be after growing attached to the characters.
My opinion, in any case. Can't help but praise the trilogy and the universe built by it
Glad you liked the game. I enjoyed hearing about your experience and witness the same feelings I went through over 5 years condensed in a month. I still look back at the Mass Effect setting as one of the most well-constructed and impactful fictionnal universes ever.

I made a playthrough with all 5 weapon slots, and almost never used pistols and SMG. From very far away, I had a Sniper Rifle, for midrange an Asaault Rifle, and for close combat I had a Shotgun. The other two were here in case of complete lack of ammo, but usually 3 is far more generous than 2 when it comes to giving you thermal clips. Unless of course you decide to go for the Javelin/Mattock/Claymore combination, in which case you have so few bullets than you will probably run out eventually.
I went full N7 weaponry, to keep the theme and all that. Hurricane plus Valkyrie accounts for a double assault rifle in my book.
In fact, I think I'll try and arm the whole squad with species-appropiate weaponry. Not sure if Tali will be viable, but the rest won't hurt much.
Just realized that regardless of your relationship with her, Liara is a teacher's pet.
I'd say she goes above and beyond the call of duty in that position.
A teacher's pet will be a yes-man to their favorite teacher. Liara helps bring Shepard back to life.
Yup, Liara goes beyond teacher's pet and straight into full-on Adoration for Shepard. She designs an incredibly advanced time capsule meant to guide and educate future sentient species and what does she do afterwards? She goes out of her way to personally make sure that the entry on Shepard is as detailed and reverent as possible.
To be honest that's the person who is uniting the galaxy against a single threat.
Yeah, point.
It's obvious that everybody in the galaxy wants Shepard, or at least has "If I swung that way..." thoughts.
That's why, in my fanfic, Shepard is gonna be diverting squadmates towards other people. He doesn't want romantic attention, and sees most of his crew in a Like Brother and Sister sense.
Taking one tank character with you to the Reaper (Garrus, Zaeed, Grunt) shouldn't affect your line, as long as everyone who gets left behind is loyal. I've always taken Garrus and Miranda/Thane with me to the baby Reaper, and I always got everyone out. Aside from that, yeah, make sure you upgrade the ship (though the armor upgrade is with Jacob, not Jack; far as I remember, the only upgrade you have with Jack is to improve her biotics).
