Armor Piercing Slap is when an angry female hits a man and makes it hurt, even if she has negligible physical strength, combat skills, or superpowers and he has any or all of those things (meaning he should be able to dodge, block, No-Sell, or otherwise render the blow ineffective).
Megaton Punch, as currently defined, is when an Armor Piercing Slap so hard that the target humorously flies off into the distance, usually becoming a Twinkle in the Sky.
Basically, both tropes are a girl hitting someone with physically implausible results because it's funny. So is there a difference I'm not seeing, or is Megaton Punch just "Armor Piercing Slap and Twinkle in the Sky combined into one trope"?

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Armor Piercing Slap is generally Played for Drama. "Look at the seriousness of the situation; this girl was pissed off enough to slap a guy, and he never saw it coming." It can be Played for Laughs, but it's definitely distinct from the exclusively comedic Megaton Punch.
Megaton Punch is also very much a visual gag where Armor Piercing Slap is not.

Rhymes with "Protracted."So why not take out the "Muggle girl hitting guy with superpowers" aspect of Megaton Punch?
Armor Piercing Slap is when an angry female hits a man and makes it hurt, even if she has negligible physical strength, combat skills, or superpowers and he has any or all of those things (meaning he should be able to dodge, block, No-Sell, or otherwise render the blow ineffective).
Megaton Punch is a visual gag where an angry character hits the target of their ire so hard that they go flying — regardless of the relative strength and toughness of both attacker and target. Expect to see an Impact Silhouette in the walls or ceiling if they're inside, or the target to disappear into a Twinkle in the Sky if they're outdoors.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Well the easy answer is it doesn't need to be taken out because the trope as written doesn't include that. It just says "Compare Armor Piercing Slap, which this trope is often combined with".
Rhymes with "Protracted."Right, that's what I'm saying we should remove. Armor Piercing Slap and Megaton Punch would be mutually exclusive.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Clock is set.

Well, if you frame it like that, there is a mile of difference between "being hurt" and "being thrown high into the sky". Also, Armor Piercing Slap does go on about how it's a trope about someone being slapped by their girlfriend and the like.
