Not sure how to feel about this. On one hand, Google handling it means there's bound to be screw ups regarding copyright policy and interface changes every second.
On the other, it would lower the need for that stupid 15 second lag Twitch has right now...
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughAnd the world gets one step closer to being a monopoly.
Disgusting choice for both companies.
Ugh, this is depressing.
And now I can't ever make another Twitch account because they'll force you to use a Google account, but you can't make a Google account without a phone, which is utter bullshit.
And then there was silenceGoogle is quickly becoming a real-life Weyland-Yutani or Buy N Large, isn't it? Twitch was built for gamers to upload Let's Plays and sneak-peeks of games without having to use You Tube and its draconian policies. Really disappointed to hear this news. "Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelWell, if that's where Twitch originated, would it be a stretch to expect that someone will make a "new" Twitch sooner or later that does what Twitch originally did if Twitch stops being what it was created for?

Edit: I should have said that, given the way this topic started off as a gripefest, there seems no point in allowing it to remain open. If you want to talk about stuff, moderate the hysteria before we have to lock it, not after.

So.... This happened.
I'm kinda not sure where to put this so if it's in the wrong place could a mod move it?
Anyway, This is exasperating because i'm sure some people went to twitch to avoid Youtube's copyright policies.
