Sweden isn't that awesome most of the time, sadly (IMO, of course). Swedish artists (such as DickRhino) usually do really well with the ultra-PC, smug superiority that's kind of been our trademark since the 1940s, but it seems like in most comics he's just depicted as a stereotypical Muslim or a stereotypical Camp Gay guy.

If Polandball Sweden were a bit more like his namesake in Scandinavia and the World (metrosexual, humourless, uptight technology nut, essentially the Germany of Scandinavia with more gay and less genocide) he would be perfect, IMO. (And yes, I realise that the solution to this problem is for me to draw more comics. Quiet, I'm lazy.)

And now I'm wondering what a SATW-style Yugoslavia and the World comic would be like. I bet even the people who publish Crossed wouldn't want to touch that...

[up][up][up] Hold on, do you mean our regional version of Polandball or our countries as Polandball characters?

The former: The Facebook page, when it actually features original content, has some pretty cute comics.

The latter: Speaking Engrish with the famous suffix "-lah", being strict to near ridiculous levels, loves Lee Kuan Yew, richest and most developed in region... Pretty accurate for Singapore. Helps that there's quite a few of us on r/polandball (myself not included). Yeah, I'm okay with Tringapore.

Portugalball is not particularly notorious, with the exception of the test drone comic strip and the 'giving Macau' comic strip. And maybe the comic strip where he laughs about Germany's thrashing of Brazil at the World Cup.

Hey- I'm trying to refind some of the Polandballs about the whole thing with Isis going on- especially the one where The anglosphere combines into a giant robot with Kamina glasses. Anyone know of any of those?

Would be interesting to see Serbiaball go up against Philippinesball in a sword fight. Especially since the latter was responsible for teaching Bruce Lee.

[up][up]Barely noticed the Freeze-Frame Bonus in the final panel of the Finland comic. That guy gets everywhere...

I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiot

Related: Super World War 2.

The economy of Norway is a developed mixed economy with state-ownership in strategic areas of the economy. Although sensitive to global business cycles, the economy of Norway has shown robust growth since the start of the industrial era. Shipping has long been a support of Norway's export sector, but much of Norway's economic growth has been fueled by an abundance of natural resources, including petroleum exploration and production, hydroelectric power, and fisheries. Agriculture and traditional heavy manufacturing have suffered relative decline compared to services and oil-related industries, and the public sector is among the largest in the world as a percentage of the overall gross domestic product. The country has a very high standard of living compared with other European countries, and a strongly integrated welfare system. Norway's modern manufacturing and welfare system rely on a financial reserve produced by exploitation of natural resources, particularly North Sea oil.
