Just beat Wallace, so now it's time to polish my team for the Elite Four. Currently on my belt are Sceptile, Gyarados, Pinsir, a Head-Smashing murder train Aggron, Gardevoir, and an HM slave. Sceptile's getting the boot in favor of either Roserade or Breloom, but I'm not sure which would help me more. As for the last slot, Heatran seems like it would cover my team's deficiencies better than anything else, even if it does duplicate all of Aggron's weaknesses.

I'd say Roserade to have another special attacker at the ready. On the other hand, Fighting will cover Steven, Glacia, and Sidney.
I also found having someone have Dark type or Dark type moves come in real handy. I hardly ever used my Grass and Flying types on my team, sticking a lot more with my fighters, even if I didn't consider them that great.
My Gallade with Dark Slash with excellent for the first few battles with the Elite Four.
House Lewis: Sanity is Relative
To get from Black to Alpha Sapphire you need the Pokemon Bank/Pokemon Transporter (there's a small fee). To get Pokemon from earlier generations into Black I believe you need to have finished the game.
I've just got Sapphire, but I can't play it yet as it turns out I haven't finished White and there's a lot of Pokemon (such as level 100 event legendaries) that I want to transfer from Pearl and Platinum to that and then to Sapphire.

Never understood why people tried to plan out their E4 teams. I just waltzed in with Latios, Swampert, and Groudon and kicked every ass easily.
On an unrelated note, the Hoenn E4 Battle theme probably one of the best songs in the franchise.

I didn't plan out my e4 team really first time round, just made sure I had no glaring weaknesses. It went okay but drake was a bit of a hassle.

I never plan out my teams ever :P Just pick up whatever looks nice and whatever appeals to me along the way... I try not to overlap types too much, but that's about it. Somehow I still manage to sweep the E4 with type advantages half the time.

I failed to catch Deoxys because he committed suicide via Struggle.

He died on me the first time, too.
And then when I reset I was horrified to discover I had to repeat the battles with Zinnia and Rayquaza and all the cutscenes. And then he died again.
So I franticly searched to make sure they didn't remove legendaries being re-fightable, because man did I not want to do that again.

They are, thank god. Just go back to the top of Spear Pillar and Deoxys' Triangle thingy will be there (if not, beat the E4 again).

Yeah, I used my master ball on rayquaza so I just ko'd deoxys and went back for it when it didn't have a 10 level advantage on the pokemon I use for catching...

Couldn't remember if the E4 thing was in this game or not since I caught Deoxys the first time using the Master Ball, so I wanted to cover my bases.
Favourite Pokemon: I forgot to mention Mawile! My favourite Mega. It's adorable.

I got so frustrated at Mesprit that I decided to chuck my Master Ball at him after 15+ turns because I didn't stock up on Timers.

I caught Mesprit in one Ultra Ball. Or maybe it was a Timer. I don't remember, but I was shocked.
And the D/P/Pt battle music! I wanna find Uxie and Mesprit just to listen to the theme again.
But once I get the whole trio, their names will be Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl. :D

I have to ask. If you come back to the Sky Pillar to get Deoxys, do you have to chase his triangle like the Gen 3 games? If so that's some incentive next time for me to knock him out.

Finally went through the Delta Episode stuff. Odd to think I took two months after beating the Elite Four to get around to that. I blame Cresselia.
It's a shame there wasn't a whole lot to it that hadn't already been spoiled to me.

Does anyone else think that the end of the Delta episode was kinda ruined by that cheesy anticlimactic tune that played when you flew M-Ray into space? I mean come on you are flying on top of a neigh-godlike-dragon into space to crush a giant meteoroid to what sounds like an outro of a 80s sitcom.
