Probably a touched up Battle Arena - it looked a lot like a dojo of some sort at the end.

dont question the costume choices in this game...its better for everyones sanity to just...move on.

Max was based of the schoolboy sprite originally anyway.

Max was based on a Gen 3 school boy.◊

Though the new schoolboy looks a bit more like Max thanks to the green shirt :P

That Wailmer didn't look generic at all, did it? It's cool that they pulled a Lapras with that one.

I like that the Schoolkid resembles Max now. It's a nice callback to Max first resembling the original Schoolkid. What goes around comes around.

Few things I wonder now that I have the time:

• During the diving scene, you can see a swarm of Corsola moving around. I wonder if it's just there for visual or that you can fight those Corsola. I also wonder where the area is.
• The Shard trader now has a fancy house. Sort of funny.
• I am guessing that the thing with ice floors is in the Trick House.
• The rocks what you would hop across with Acro Bike are now tree stumps.
• The thing with Pikachu might be some sort of special event or something.
• Sharpedo Submarine!
• I honestly want that pagoda place be where you would find Ho-Oh. Just because it almost looks like the air is filled with embers.
• I am even more curious about the dark cloud area because it doesn't seem to appear in the cutscene with Latios. And what is up with that thing coming from Meteor Falls? Is it a rainbow?

I'm pretty sure the room with the ice floor is the Sootopolis gym.

pikachu seemed like it was in the safari zone.....maybe..

Looks like the Safari Zone to me, the way Brendan is walking makes me think of it since he wouldn't have any Pokémon with him and would need to be more careful.

I hope it's possible to get all colours of shards before the Mossdeep gym battle. I really would have liked a Ludicolo before that fight.

well,if Super Secret Training is still a thing,you could get a Water Stone there.
