Nostalgia also makes you feel that way sometimes.
But instead of a negative feeling, it's more of a warm comfortable feeling.
Like you're right where you belong.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Damn, the show is older than me.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
I guess going out for a lame night on the town with two childish idiots is in order to feel young again.

"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"And just to reiterate this point: nostalgia is only good in small doses. Like this moment right now: looking at the wiki page of Dexter's La-bore-ee-tory (that's how Dexter and I as a three year old pronounce it) it is crazy how many well known creators worked on the show. Craig McCracken, Seth McFarlane, Chris Savino, Butch Hartman, Amy Keating Rogers, Rob Renzetti and Paul Ruddish all were involved with the production of this show before creating their own shows.
Either way, I can't wait for July of next year to talk about Johnny Bravo; that was my favorite among the early Cartoon Cartoon line-up.

How long ago was it confirmed that Peanuts was getting a Boomerang series?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Peanuts are getting a new series on Boomerang? Well that's news to me. All I know was just the movie, I didn't expect an animated series

"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Relatively new, I just found out it's a 2014 French animated series, that's only just getting a Dub...on Boomerang.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.The French do make some great animated series, Still it's kinda weird that it's coming from them though, I have no idea how far Peanuts influence and popularity is spread among the world.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"... wait. "New"??? I thought it was reruns on the old cartoons!
They could do that too. Nickelodeon had the rights to the old TV series before, but Cartoon Network ran some of their made-for-TV movies too.
Well, when he was alive, Schultz was the highest paid cartoonist on Earth, if that tells you anything. At the height of it's popularity, Peanuts was seen in 75 countries, and translated into 21 different languages.
That's awesome.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Fun thing I just found. Van Partible, on his Facebook page, posted about "an election campaign he could get behind" - the Big Pick-era campaign to have one of the first eight Cartoon Cartoons get its own breakfast cereal:

"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."... wait. "New"??? I thought it was reruns on the old cartoons!
No, it was all new (well, it adapted some material already covered by previous Peanuts shows, but it's all new animation and voiceover) with more of an attempted comic strip feel... the style even tries to include comic panels in the storytelling.
I think I sorta remember that, at least I can recall the Cartoon Cartoons on the cereal boxes. And I agree, that's one election I could get behind.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"Some more pilots were posted today: Apple & Onion and Bottom's Butte.
http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/blog/post/check-out-a-new-cartoon-network-short-bottoms-butte
It's interesting that, despite Apple & Onion's creator being based in London, the show was still produced by Cartoon Network Studios, not CN Development Studios Europe.
Extra! Extra! Maxwell Atoms' student film featuring the origins of Billy and Mandy has finally made it to the Internet!
Well that was incredibly creepy.
I find it kind of ironic how Mandy went from this smiling sadist to a frowning evil mastermind as development went on.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Well, ya got me there.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Wow. Completely different yet fitting for the tone of the show. Now all we have to wait for is Van Partible's crappy pilot for Johnny Bravo to be released (you know, the one with the Elvis Impersonator).

Dexter's Lab is 20 years old?
Well, congrats to the series, but all the same, I feel really old right now...
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"
