So, let's talk about Cinema Sins. For those of you who don't know what they're all about, they're basically a channel that tallies various "sins" in various movies from every level on the quality spectrum (because "No movie is without sin," as they say). Sins include anything from legit criticisms (continuity errors, plot holes, Unfortunate Implications, etc.) to silly gag stuff (Scene X doesn't contain a lapdance, Person X that was famous in another movie didn't do that thing he/she did in that movie while in this movie, etc.).

I personally find them quite amusing, with the best ones being the ones where a movie is so horrible, you know that they dislike it too (like the videos on Twilight, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, or The Room) and they do whatever it takes to inflate the sin count for the lulz.

I'll post their latest video just to start off:

Love those guys. Wish they did more of their other videos too. Movie Recipes were funny as hell.

Also worth noting that (Bonus rounds notwithstanding) by their own words, the Sin count of a movie is not an indicator of quality, nor is the fact it's had a video at all.

The funniest thing for me was with the Pacific Rim one, not the video, but the comments from angry fans who can't take a joke. Actually, that applies any time they cover a movie with a cult following.

Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the Great

[up] It's actually two people. Just that one guy does all the voice overs and physical appearances. Presumably the 2nd guy is camera shy.

I think that the other person may have been the narrator in the first one. I am not caught up with my You Tube videos. Eventually, I'll get to the one in February that insults a Twilight film. I can't wait.

[up] Most likely he's the one who narrated Prometheus, now that you're mentioning it.

Wonder why that video didn't point out the entire "strutting down the street Saturday Night Fever style" scene as a sin?

Because dancing isn't a sin (but sex can lead to it)!

For some reason I wanna see this guy review movies like the Sesame Street movies, or 5 people you meet in heaven. We've been watching it in class. It's GOOOOOD. It makes me want to be a better person. It helps that the main character is a nice old guy who's great with kids but dies saving one

I kinda want them to do Frozen. But hopefully not have a case of Did Not Do The Research.
Of course, I dare them to find a sin in The Lego Movie. It can't be done!

Or Hot Fuzz.

They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!

[up] Hot Fuzz has continuity errors. Ergo Sins. The DVD itself points them out in Fuzz Fact mode.

Also, what Research is there to do about Frozen? It's a standalone movie.

I've seen a lot of complaints about the movie that are explained during the movie. tongue

If they do do Frozen or The Lego Movie, I think that would be their first animated movie for the Sins videos.

Finally, they do this one.
Also, if they do make a Frozen video, how many times do you think they'll do the "[Title Drop] Roll Credits. Oh, wait." gag? Or will they just make it a bonus round?

[up]Nothing about Tom Cruise running in a Tom Cruise movie cliché.

If a chicken crosses the road and nobody else is around to see it, does the road move beneath the chicken instead?
