Well, crap, thanks a lot for destroy Kanata's truebody so that Ochiai's can take it over. Anyway, I guess this means that Kunato is the one in coma then? Anyway, yeah, somehow it does feel like its close to the end, I home Tsumugi doesn't actually die but yeah I feel like she has really big chance of dying for some tragedy

That was Mozuku, not a Honoka.
The manga has entered the end phase, but we are not close to the end. Unless the LMUS attacks now, the final battle against it will be delayed. And there is also the last Hoshijiro placenta. Its story is not over yet.
Lazy and pathetic. Is Large Mass Union Ship even only of its kind in existence? <_< I mean, there are other human colony ships gauna could be hunting down anyway, so I guess it could be only one close to sidonia for next thousand years of their trip meaning it would be end of manga, but yeah just wondering
I finished the anime on Netflix. I liked it.
Yay, now read the manga so you will find about the best character evar Cause November is four months away
Really enjoyed this, probably the best Mecha series I've seen in a long time. Especially since it didn't try super hard with the emotional breakdowns of a few of the other series that have let me down, as a side note, is anyone going to do a anime page for the series? Also is there an official release for the manga in English? I'm fine with fan translations but would love to support the series.
We already have a manga page, no need to create one for the anime.
I forgot that manga/anime don't get split pages, though in this case it seems (from reading this thread) that the Manga has a few changes. But on a second thought not to the point that a separate page is needed.
Wake up! Wake the hell up LMUS, your only entertainment for six hundred years is going to implode!
If you see me I'm on an accidental Archive Binge. So I'm bit confused about something: When in November first episode of second season is up, the rest of season is already written?
Does that mean they go for gecko ending since I don't think they are going for third season considering they could have rest of current manga in second season and manga hasn't yet ended .-.
And secondly, does show come up on Netflix only after whole second season has aired in Japan and they have translated it? I mean, how long does that take?
Details are sparse, but they say that the November date is a pre-air, and the actual season would air later, maybe even Winter 2015.
Chapter 65 translated and Ochiai's status as jackass confirmed
I mean, he really does want to destroy Sidonia now that he is "perfect"
How long did Nagate sleep?
If you see me I'm on an accidental Archive Binge. No one is hurt too bad, And it seems Kunato had a chance of coming back!
Translation of 66 is out.
That ending. I can just see the guys who hate the harem aspect rolling their eyes right now.
I facepalmed, actually
Why?
Lazy and pathetic.I thought it was pretty good, actually. Kobayashi just came out completely honest to Nagate and decided to take a gamble on what he'd do. Manipulative, sure, but also very honest. And unlike other moments, it was entirely non-sexual.
Yeaaaaah, I'm pretty confused since that can be interpreted in both sexual and not kinda way
Well, I said non-sexual, but I mean in a general sense of how it was presented. This feels kinda serious because instead of any nudity or general fanservice, she just let her hair down and asked him to stay.
Kobayashi sure is sentimental, making it rain just to set the atmosphere. You can just imagine it's something she got out of an old movie or something.
Uh guys, that's as sexual a come-on as I'd seen any, especially in Japanese fiction, ESPECIALLY when she lets her hair down. "Keep her company until the rain ends."
And it's not the first time that it happened in Sidonia. Samari did let her hair down in chapter 28 and it was pretty clear what she wanted from Nagate in that scene. More did not happen only because Nagate passed out.
Lazy and pathetic.
Translation's up for chapter 64. Shit's going down. Ochiai's plans are coming to fruition. Geez, just how many people did he mind-jack with his blood nematode? He even got one of the Honokas, damn. Taking out Nagate before he got into Tsugumori strikes me as a particularly clever move, as well. Sidonia's really fucked right now.
I can't see Ochiai destroying Sidonia... he's a mad scientist with an agenda of creating the ultimate life-form, not a genocidal nut. It's a subtle difference, but it's there. He probably wants to be made its undisputed leader or something. Christ, Tsumugi's death-flags don't bode her well. She's already suffered this chapter with her sibling dying right in front of her.
I suspect we're nearing the manga's end.
