Typically they also don't end the episode with the implication that they're gods of the new world who can finally use their talents to conquer everything.
...so why is the first post just a Nu Metal song?
It's one thing to make a spectacle. It's another to make a difference.Interesting series. Definitely reminds me of problem Children, though the focus seems to be on more cerebral approach as opposed to "Izaya smash!" that solved all the problems.
Sora and Shiro are definitely interesting characters. It seems to me they couldn't deal with the chaos of normal life so they shimmered themselves in games to gain a sense of purpose and order.
There also seems to be an interesting synergy of their skills. Sora is an expert at getting into peoples heads while Shiro seems to be a math genius capable of analyzing a set of rules Rainman style.
The animation is nice and the world looks beautiful. They could cut down on the rainbow thing tho.
Definitely interested in where this is going.
Well that's a really bright looking world.
Throwing out my thoughts. I think a lot of the people in this world just do what they need to live comfortably and being able to reject (They can do that right? Seriously, my memory is a sieve) a challenge means they don't really try and push their skills to the limit.
And I wonder why the girl lost all his clothes. Did she try to challenge her opponent again?
Hmm.... Sora and Shiro, their VAs, the ED artist. It all seems so familiar.

The second episode was hilarious, and it set up some admittedly rather odd flaws that can be exploited. The siblings go catatonic if they're too far apart, which is a weird flaw, but one that can make quite a bit of drama. Also, the incest angle got shot down completely.
Not Three Laws compliant.I love how Sora pointed out ALL the moral problems in going after his sister
1.She his sister. Incest is NOT okay
2.She's eleven. Pedophilia is equally wrong
also, they have quite the creative flaw: if they are more than a certain distance apart from each other , they completely break down and are unable to function normally.
Yeah, that really makes a great weakness that hampers their "mary sueness" others worried about.
Also Steph's VA is god tier.
WRRYYYYYYYYYYYY!
The mind games in this show are glorious. Who would have thought you could have a high-stakes game of Rock Paper Scissors?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialYou know, the fall in love with me thing could have gone in such a creepy way (and it sort of did), but it's clear that Sora has no idea what to actually do with her, and it's a great way to establish how powerful the laws governing that world are. And I've heard that the effect of the commands from a bet are time-limited.

Not Three Laws compliant.Yeah that's why she stopped seeing him in "Romance'o'Vision" at the end. The command wore off but by that point his actions started making her genuinely fall for him.
That went in a different direction than I expected. It would have been nice if they explained that the commands were time limited as that just seemed weird that it wore off like that.
For a good while, I thought Steph is like Kuroko (raildex) and Lenessia (log horizon) butt heads.
Same as usual.... Wing it.Well the order was "Fall in love with me" not "Forever be in love with me."
She could have fallen in love and immediately hate him again if she so desired.
It's a damned good thing those commands apparently wear off, because it wouldn't have taken much more for that gag to go from funny to throughly creepy.
Well Shiro made a point that he could have made that wish a lot worse, plus Sora seemed only to intend for "Fall in love with me" to just be a way of getting a castle and money (while she's in a bikini, of course)

Yep, he didn't really think that through, which is all for the best I suppose.
Second episode was better than the first. Really funny. I liked that Sora showed his dorky side and isn't just permanently smirking gary stu.
I agree that's it's a good thing that the command effect is only temporary or it would make for one creepy romance.
Did Steph had only one dress or what?
I'm liking this series more and more with each episode.
They're also expanding the lore at a good pace. Lots of interesting races to look forward to meeting. As well as how Sora (or perhaps Shiro as the brains) accounts for magic in games.
I think that girl looks pretty tauntable. Challenging her for the position of King should definitely be possible.
I can't help but feel Sora and Shiro's dependence on one another will seem less severe next time it's relevant.

Well, that sucks. Humans in that world can't even tell if magic is being used, so anyone can beat a human opponent by cheating via magic. Must be awfully convenient. They seriously need judges/referees to preside over the matches; all this filthy cheating is the main problem with informal matches like this.

Episode 2: That was the most confusing game of jan ken pon or rock paper scissors I have ever witnessed. Waaaay more confusing than the lizard-Spock expnsion.
Aaaand this episode was infinitely more hilarious than the first! Especially that scene where the siblings are separated by a few meters and they both crack!
Mr. Steam is the worst character in every anime! Always "conveniently" censoring things!
Poor Steph...sentenced to a Fate Worse than Death by having one emotion forcefully manipulated while the rest remain intact. Edit: Wait, it wore off? Okay, never mind.
No magic for humans. That kind of blows. I'm 99% certain Shiro can use passive magic though.
So this will probably end up being better than Problem Children, but it would be reeeally difficult for it to beat Outbreak Company.
Really, it's amazing that humans aren't a slave race. They're doing pretty well for themselves.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Seems that both siblings can tell when magic is being used, but because our world has no magic, they can't make any sense of it. Or maybe they can only tell when it's used to cheat.
I was talking about Shiro's instant language-learning ability but you could very well be right. That would be nice.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. She's just really smart and good at recognising and memorising patterns, or at least that's how it appears to me.
I mean, she solved chess, remember?
Dude, it's the first episode. Typically protagonists don't lose in the first episode.
