Someone mind telling me why Sawatari is a Lancer again? He's clearly useless.

Yuya tries to be the voice of reason and gets shut down. Even his plan to escape is botched because Serena doesn't know when to quit.

Because he's not useless when he isn't being a complete idiot.

Also because he's one of the few who will likely obey Reiji if he gives a command.

This is true. I'd forgotten.

Yeah, Sawatari and Serena were nothing but harmful to the operation this week. Serena did get a win but was still completely unreasonable about the situation. Sawatari not only got OT Ked, but also told them about Action Cards.

Sawatari is a idiot. He should be dumped in a ditch.

Head dude realized that Yuya and company were not the suspects they were looking for, what with using Fusion and having action cards and Pendulum (though Yuzu uses fusion as well, so there was still a chance of confusion).

And I just remembered to mention that Crow having his own gang is interesting. I wonder what his relation to Jack is in this world?

By the way, it's apparently been confirmed on Twitter that City is not New Domino, and is in a different universe.

Well, we all suspected that already, but getting some for sure confirmation doesn't hurt.

Rob you have to remember that Sawatari gets better the more that he loses. Clearly he just needs to be beaten a few more times to realize not to blurt out stuff.

Then again knowing Reiji he probably sent him with Yuya and Reira because he has a big mouth.

Then Reiji is a worse older brother than Kaiba, even if he's less of an arrogant dick.

"Assault Black Feather" sounds like it's going to be a new sub-archetype so that Konami can capitalize on the original Black Feathers' popularity. I'm a little miffed that Shingo and Selena didn't get to show off anything new, however. Though, speaking of "showing off", was the bust shot during Selena's Fusion pose really needed -_-?

Funny that not only is Security somewhat competent now, but also that Yuya kept asking Reira if he was having fun when the kid was looking like he was having 'Nam flashbacks the whole time.

Poor Yuya.

I get the feeling his philosophy is gonna be ground into dust. He's fucking trying, but it's just not working.

Duel 56. AND ACTION!

• Wow, Shingo lost right from the get-go.
• Yuuya sure had a lot of fun. But how could the Security guys have fun when they're busy doing their job?
• But Yuuya did learn, Shingo. He didn't get one-shotted.
• Wasting your time with Reira, Yuuya. He sorely needs Reiji to get competent. That must change soon...
• ...Sorry, Selena, but dishing out the same three monsters is now getting old. More Moonlights, please!
• Garter's so cute! And it somewhat sounds like a Solrock.
• Assault Blackwings? This Crow is definitely different. What with leading his own Team Satisfaction and all.

Don't you know that Selena's deck is just those two monsters, Polymerization and 37 copies of Upstart Goblin?

(Some people said that about Shun's deck early on, except he has 3 Vanishing Lanius and 37 Upstart.)

We now return to... Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-5Ds!

Yuzu and Yugo hide from Police as Gong and Dennis are looking for Yuya and co. Dennis impresses some kids and gets some money. Crow introduces himself to Yuya and co. and meets the kids. Yuzu and Yugo doomsday preaches about the war, but are not believed by and instead make a ruckus. Kids who stole some food at that restaurant return to Crow. They saw Yugo and Yuzu there, thinking Yuya and Serena are them. Melissa Claire reports on Gong and Dennis dueling because Dennis is showing off. Oh good, Entermage Pendulums, which Dennis uses and surprises Melissa and then he summons his Xyz to surprise Jean. Dennis is beaten by Gongenzaka. As they collect their money, a man in yellow shades approaches them, named Gallager...

Next Week!Gongenzaka and Dennis meet someone in this underground duel arena, Kurosaki!

This duel was a good one.

Because telling people about something that supposedly broke known physics will let them immediately coming over to your cause. This is alternate, so no momentum black hole traveling.

Dennis seemed to really enjoy playing the villain. I get the feeling he was letting some of his true self come out on that one.

So the dub was apparently previewed. Yuzu being changed to Zuzu Boyle is confirmed for the English dub (we already knew that for a few other dubs). Also, LDS was changed to LID.

I'm just left wondering how they'll alter Lance Defense Soldiers to fit LID. Lance [something] of Defense?

Well, Performages are rather low-rarity, so buying the new stuff isn't exactly a concern if you want them.

So someone other than Yuya and Shingo finally used their new Pendulums. Mirror Conductor is potentially hilarious, but the rest of them are quite solidly there to get Trapeze Magician out ASAP, which is fine if they give the deck a way to recycle spent Pendulums since they won't return to the Extra that way.

I took a lot at the scales of Dennis' new Pendulums. Do they assign these at random? They have the same problem as Performapals - the scales are fairly randomly-distributed between 3 and 6 instead of keeping them all at 3 or 6 like a good archetype would.

Ok, there were quite a few interesting points in this episode that I thought were missing on Elias' summary:

• Dennis' plan was to draw attention, so that Yuya could find them. I know that somehow benefits Dennis as The Mole, but I can't put my finger on how. Well, it worked wonderfully, but not with the results he was expecting...

• Crow left to look for Hugo and Yuzu.

• Gongenzaka getting really pissed at Dennis making him the villain was hilarious and adorable. Dennis' demon overlord antics were also quite enjoyable.

• Gallager introduced himself as promoter that would get them duels against strong Duelists. Then, the preview says they were taken to (and meet Shun in) a place of gambled duels named Car Factory of Darkness (no kanji reading here, so my translation might be really off. I personally hope I'm wrong on that one).

And the most important thing of all: JEAGAR'S FACE IS ON THE FREAKING MONEY!

Neither of you caught the Morphtronic action figures for sale? We see a transformed Cameran and Smartfon and base form Celfon, so it's implied they can transform.

I mean, I know it's unlikely with how they shafted her, but it'd be great if Aki / Akiza got a chance to be awesome in this world.

I also wonder if other characters from the GX and Zexal have counterparts in Academia and Alternate Heartland?

If that was the case, is there anyone you guys would like to see again?
