How about the fact that if the alternate universes in Arc-V were supposed to be the same exact universes the previous shows took place in, everything that happened in the Synchro Dimension wouldn't have happened?
x2 The only thing I've heard of ideas that none of them, not even standard, are the dimensions the other four series take place in. As Heartland is never suggested to exist in Standard. Rather a card based on XYZ Dimension was made called Futuristic City Heartland after Shun met Reiji.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Pretty sure I already pointed you towards Kite's backstory as not matching. There is no "Clover School" that Kite was the ace of in Zexal or we would have heard about it.
That, and Kaito never used Ciphers.
Seriously, Why would Kaito NOT use Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon if he was the same person from ZEXAL?
Edo is apparently the Commander-in-Chief of Academia's forces.
What was in your right hand is hope; And in another hand is something else to fade. Will we get some new D-Heroes or some new type of HERO-es?
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.A new Booster SP of D-Heroes was already announced in the OCG, so...
Aster's a baddie? Interesting!
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Heh, looks like he's been taking fashion tips from Jean.
My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsI've occasionally wondered if the Fusion Dimension being the villains is supposed to be a wink to the fact that Fusion tends to be The Scrappy of the Extra Deck summoning methods.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I thought it was more a nod to when the Extra Deck was called the Fusion Deck when the game first began.
Synchro is now the most underutilized, funnily enough.
I thought it was a jab at GX.
I'm not the nicest bloke you've ever met, but I do me best.Doubtful; GX was the most popular spinoff in Japan.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Yeah. Though Zexal II got better ratings than the first half from what I recall.
GX was also he wackiest with hilarious filler duels serious duels against stuff like the last vampire or duel monkey.
Don't forget that one very serious duel against the guy who thought he was Yami.
And personally, I prefer to think of it as a meta joke, given that Fusions more or less fell by the wayside when things like Synchro and Xyz picked up steam. And now they're having their revenge.
Eh. It can be seen in a lot of ways I think.
One Strip! One Strip! This just in: Cyber Angels are coming to OCG. And Asuka's returning in a couple of episodes.
Don't tell me...
RITUAL HYYYYYPE (Wishful thinking, probably, but just let me savor this moment...)
Not expecting much because it's Asuka.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Remember that this is an alternate Asuka.
She's doesn't have to be the irrelevant Faux Action Girl she was in the original GX.
....She probably will be, but lets hope for the best here.
One Strip! One Strip!Bout to start episode 99. How hard does Reiji curbstomp Roger?
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! He breaks Roger with a loop combo Roger's own strategy allows to happen.
Kite used to use Harpies Feather Duster. What a scrub.
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!
The thing is, there is no evidence currently available that can deliver the final nail in the coffin for the chances of XYZ Dimension being where Ze Xal happened as far as I know. Though, I may've forgotten something important. (Everyone, don't believe the Yu-Gi-Oh! Wikia! The Kaito Tenjo (Arc-V) and Heartland (Arc-V) pages were made in case they do turn out to be different)
