I suggest a double pic of the photos prior in the same episode (ie. Homer strangling the dog, and then the dog biting him in retaliation) making it a very literal example.
I dunno... This is a villain-only AND a Death Trope, so I'm not sure how literal we should go here, lest it be mistaken for "a mistreated person of any kind strikes back against their tormentor."
Where does it say that?
On the page? It says it's a death trope, and by taking out those elements it's just Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested for Spark's reasons but only weakly so.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI think the pic encourages misuse of this trope for Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal. If we're going to go visual pun, at least find a pic of the dog biting.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
Okay, it's funny, but well, we have a literal dog punching it's master, but it looks like they're both fighting, and there's no hint that the dog was abused prior. So this image really isn't helping the article.
BTW, I meant to tag this is Does Not Illustrate.
