I believe you have misinterpreted the definition of this trope. This is about music that has religious themes without being explicitly Christian.

That example shouldn't be on this page. That is really the opposite of this trope. The band is unchristian, but is sometimes mistaken for Christian because of its misleading name. This is about music that has Christian themes, but is not generally thought of as "Christian Rock" because it is not explicitly Christian or is only Christian in subtext.
