Yeah, the problem here is the Fujimiya doesn't remember at all that they fought or why and that wasn't even written in the diary so there is no reference for it. Hopefully Hase can avoid making the same mistake and realized where he screwed up or this could happen quite easily once again.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Episode 4:
- That's right! Kaori has a friend. Just not the everyone's talking about.
- The jealousy was strong in you, Yuki. it also turned you into an idiot.
- But hey, everything worked out in the end. And Kaori remembered Yuki without the diary's helpnote , so that's a plus.
- Next time, that girl appears.
up to Danna: Yeah, the amnesia thing was rather inconsistent. It seems like she can remember and can't remember certain thing at different time, depending on the author.
Wait...What?Episode 5. In which there's a like-minded girl.
That girl is so loopy.
It's kinda odd for her to hide behind him. Seems a little late, and also a little out of character for her.
Loopy indeed. I wonder if she's a natural.
Why does everyone always think in extreme binary in anime? Either you hate someone, or you're the bestest friend ever. Or in love.
Yeah, at her own pace. That slow way of talking along with being very pushy. It's an odd combination. But it's rather pleasant, really. Rolling the dice she's been given.
Those small bits of improvement are significant in their own right.

Check out my fanfiction!Uhh...so is the probability of her forgetting her friends directly proportional to how much time she spent with them the previous week or something? Or perhaps, how much she enjoyed herself while with them?
Since she recognised Hase, after all...
Come to think of it, why doesn't she keep photos in her diary or something so she can put a face to the name when she's reading her diary on Monday mornings?
Give the God Eater game thread some love!I'm starting to wonder if this school has some kind of brain-eating virus.
The curse of the Idiot Plot. You can't help but laugh at them, but if they weren't so stupid the show would be over in seconds. *coughharemanimecough*
The worst. Literally the worst. Massive shipper. Also a Bay12 Denizen. So it turns out being pushy is the right approach to bringing Kaori from he shell.
I like Saki. She might be loopy but she's nice.
As it turns out the other kids in the school aren't that bad.
Last week I wondered why it isn't bigger deal for Kaori's parents that she made a friend, but it looks like next week will answer that.
Episode 5:
- Saki's so loopy. But that's what makes her fun.
- They get along pretty well. Kaori's chemistry with Saki is better than when she's with Yuki. They even ate crepes! Shogo sends Yuki his sympathies.
- Despair used to be a thing for Saki, but nowadays, it's one of those things she easily forgets about.
- Heh, Saki has some nice friends. And Kaori got a nice laugh out on that dreadful day known as Monday. Yay for progress!
I'm starting to really wonder why any of these characters want to be friends with Kiryu.
Episode 6. In which there's a mother.
Nice punishment. Not exactly by the book, though.
Yeah, listen to your friend. Man up. Don't be such a wuss.
And then when he gets his wish he's disappointed? Make up your mind, will you?
I wonder if that mom is even more flustered than he is. Excited flustered.
Fluffy bed... Eh, I prefer a hard one.
Saki is so serious about studying. Well, that's how people are. Especially if they're anime characters.
I like how her mother seems happy about being told the same thing repeatedly.
That silence isn't awkward at all. Just somewhat tense. A little.
"Try talking." That's not exactly helpful. And conversations tend to work better if the response is at equal or higher energy than the question. If it's lower it kills conversations dead. Unless it's a blabbermouth.
You know, if you're going to complain he's sitting at the far end, why did you move to the other far end yourself?
I like her way of thinking. Her daughter was in an accident. She isn't thinking, "How horrible, she was hospitalised!" but rather, "Thank god she survived!" That's something I definitely can relate to.

Check out my fanfiction!Yuuki was so happy and so nervous about visiting Kaori's house. Ahh, youth.
Shougo isn't a bad guy, he just doesn't talk much, but I bet that he'll be there when it counts.
Kaori's mother is great. She really loves her daughter.
I'm really glad that this show doesn't shy away from progress. Compared to the first episode Kaori got a lot better. She has friends now, and even other kids in class treat her normally. This is so nice.
Episode 6:
- Shogo's always being dragged around. Honestly, he's not even trying to stop being dragged around.
- Kaori's mom was all like "Friends!? Oh, I thought this day would never come!" So yes, she got the wind knocked out of her.
- Yuki, asking Shogo to do something would not do any good. Besides, he ain't underachieving in Math.
- Saki's a good listener. Her friendship operation needed more work. And thought. Mission failed. Not really, since Kaori and Shogo are gonna be pals now! Sort of!
- Ah, Saki's not the only forgetful person this season.
- Shogo doesn't need to ask you for some cash, Yuki. You're close pals, so a psychic link has been established, right?
- Yes, meeting up with Kaori's mom is important. But, your make-up test's more pressing at the moment. GAAAAAHHH!
- So, Kaori was in an accident. And she was going to meet a friend. Still...not seeing the baggage, really. But soon, everything will be obvious.
- She loves messing with ya, Yuki. And her love for Kaori's great. And now I realize that I should've watched this episode on Mother's Day.
...Okay, I meant Saki's not the only who's constantly forgetful this season. Like, forgetful every five seconds. Nya ha!
Warning: this episode might cause a serve case of diabetes.
Seriously, those two are just adorable. I guess that's what they call being pure. Though it's good thing Yuuki has Shogo to keep him from wimping out.
Also it seems Kaori is almost over her problems, and made new friends. Good to know that the other girls are actually nice.
I wonder why they didn't include Fujimiya's thoughts while she was watching Hase interact with her girl friends. Namely, she felt a "fuzzy feeling" in her chest, and is confused about it. She later ask Hase to remain her friend, and when he answers yes, she mentions that she feels relieved somehow. Maybe it was not deemed important or superfluous.
Oh well, still an excellent episode.
Ah, so that what it was about. It did seem kind of unexplained.
Episode 7. In which there are memories.
Yeah, jealousy is his strongest flaw.
"That reaction!" What reaction? The Shipper on Deck interpretation? Her sincere honesty, on the other hand, is a bit different to read into...
That was a new record? I have a longer stride than that.
Someone looking at you like that is one of the most common reasons why people can't focus.
There's a lot of complaining about things people are the cause for themselves...
Ah.
"I'm a man of action." And he can't even say it with a straight face. A wimp indeed.
Yeah, she was just assuming they'd meet all along anyway. That's Kaori for you.
That mother sure has a green thumb. It showed in the previous episode as well, but it was so much more obvious here.
My first thought about Kaori remembering him was that it wasn't a school day.
That last scene seems kind of weird, but they do have explicit dates, which makes it clear when it happens.
Check out my fanfiction!Episode 7:
- Ai and Maiko are truly nice girls.
- Nice leap, Saki. I'm sure that will enter the pages of PE history.
- There's no worming out of saying your honest feelings, Yuki.
- Ah.
- My, they've gotten so used to seeing each other, it's only natural to hang out over the summer holidays...right?
- Status update: Kaori's grabbing hold of her memories.
- Whew. I thought that would never appear. Would've made "Friends of 'Whew'" unnecessary. Again, whew.
- Now Saki needs to grab hold of her memories... No she doesn't. She's fine the way she is...right? I forgot.
I'm getting paranoid about whether it's about to all go horribly wrong.
Not next episode at least, you can rest assured.
when they come back to school for the second semester, though...
No, that guy doesn't appear in the OP. So we're safe... right?
Episode 4. Which is green.
Shocking news! She has a friend! Must be a slow day for the rumour mill.
Getting upset someone was recognised as a friend before yourself? There's reasonable, there's petty, and there's that. And I wonder if, "I'm waiting for the right time," ever means anything other than, "I don't have the guts to do it right now."
The school roof. Always restricted, always someone there. Good bribe, though.
Was some time since I saw jealousy this fierce outside a yandere.
Hard to say what she's upset about specifically, but it's not like she doesn't have reasons to.
Uh, oh...
But you know, the poster doesn't just disappear because it falls down from the door. It should still be on the floor, and since she's not a slob, she should notice it.
I'm beginning to wonder if anime characters can even look at rain without getting sick.
I wonder how she actually looks at Shogo, if she still remembers him. Close acquaintance, but not quite friend?
Doesn't remember, but remembers that something isn't. Or just had an insight of some other kind.
Friends making up play out similar to that most of the time anyway. Just mostly realising that it doesn't matter rather than outright forgetting, but it's the same thing, really. Difference is that here there's less room for growing up from it.
