2048

My classmates just discovered the game a week or two ago, and they're already better than me. Poo.

At least now I can say "I was playing 2048 BEFORE it was cool". XD

For some reason, I do my best while listening to Welcome To Night Vale, having recently attained a score of 11360. THE POWER OF THE GLOW CLOUD COMPELS ME!!!

I downloaded Super 2048 on my phone and I'm using the 8x8 grid with the alphabet skin.

I'm trying to get to the V tile and I'm at Q (or the 4194304 tile and I'm at 131072. It's all pretty and blue...)

I realized, getting to the next tile takes longer and longer...it reminds me of that story One Grain of Rice where a king has to give a girl twice the grains of rice he gave her the day before.

The numbers get so big so fast that he can't keep up...that always stuck with me somehow...

...as for the classic 2048 with the 4x4 grid, I've never won it. The highest I got was 1024 and then they all just clutter up. The thing is that you have to have 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, and 1024 all ready before you can make 2048. They have to stream together...

Current highest is 256 after my second attempt, lemme try this again.

@Maxwell Its great to do while listening to Nightvale isn't it, entertaining without being distracting. Anyways highest block 2048 highest score 15000 something the motherboard of the computer I was using got fried.

Finally cracked my high score of 7700, by quite a bit actually. It's now 12640 on the mobile version.

I also got the 1024 tile. Yay me, I'm so pleased!

Just got my best score on the desktop version - 10188. Not bad for me.

Two years after first playing this, finally, unbelievably, I got the 2048 tile!!!! With a score of 20368 (so far) - I can keep playing this particular run. I just snapped a picture with my mobile phone to prove to myself I actually did it.

Been playing this for over a year, started with the Twitch Plays Pokemon version. High score is 1,811,504.

This game is easy after learning one can just open a new tab of the same game in case you mess up a move. Sorry.

Heh. I'm happy with the way I got to that 2048 tile. It took a while but it worked.

Finally got the 2048 tile again, and it sort of passed me by that I'd done it until the "this winner is you" screen popped up. Got a score of 28208, sizeably bigger than I got the last time.
