Leave Raven alone.
Well, I am officially pumped (and very, very concerned for certain characters).
TV critics who have gotten to see the first four episodes ahead of time say they're really awesome, too. This may be the first time I've ever been anxious for December to be over and January to get here.
lol
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Ten days till the season premiere, and we've got another trailer coming out. Some of it's footage we've seen before, but a fair bit of it is new, too.
Looking at the glimpses we've gotten of Season 3 so far, something's occurred to me. I can't be sure about this, but in all the footage we've seen of Raven so far, it doesn't look like she's standing up in any of it; she seems to be sitting down a lot. That has me wondering if, after her bone marrow extraction, Raven is busted in both legs now, and she's gonna end up in a wheelchair for Season 3.
The Season 3 premiere has aired. Some highlights include:
Clarke fighting a panther.
Lincoln/Bellamy sparring match.
The gang rocking out to some music.
"Jaha, if you're seeing this, then that would indeed mean you are not dead, so SCREW YOU!"
Also, Jasper acted crazy and ruined a tensed situation which caused people to die when they didn't need to. Good think that never happened before!
They had somebody singing in Trigedasleng.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAnd I want a translation NOW!
Trump delenda estAnd will you take
A life with me?
A body's hollow
A body bleeds
-
We live as one
We live alone
I am your soldier
I will atone
-
And will you take
A life with me?
My soul moves on
My soul is freed
-
After the storm
A lightning flash
With all the world
Reduced to ash
-
And will you take
A life with me?
The world will burn
Save what you need
-
I am fearless
I aim to fight
I aim to die
You're in my sight
-
And will you take
A life with me?
Blood must have blood
My body bleeds

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureIs anyone else feeling pro-Ice Nation just to be contrary? I mean, they're probably going to be fleshed out later on, but right now they're pretty shallow, and they've teamed up with avenging, Last of His Kind leftover mountain man so I really want to stan for them.

There's a pretty obvious route to building sympathy for them:
The union of the 12 clans has been called a coalition, but given that all the clans are required to bow before a supreme Commander, and given that the Ice Nation, at least, was only made part of it after a war with Lexa's forces, it's not unreasonable to think the "coalition" might be more accurately called The Empire.
It is an empire. Given what the grounders appear to have been locked in a war of all against all before Lexa's empire, that is a step up. Calling it a coalition is probably a necessity due to remnant cultural heritage from the USA, but just because you are fighting the empire doesn't make you the good guy, because violent anarchy is much, much worse.
Unless Lexa (or the Commanders before her) trying to conquer all the clans is the reason there was so much warfare.
We haven't had a clear good side/bad side divide in the show for a while, if ever, so I'm guessing this is the intention. In the next episodes we should see the point of view of the Ice Nation on the matter.
Also, I just realised that other Grounders are organised in "clans" or "people (tree people, etc.) but Azgeda is the only "nation".
They've also been using the term "crew". Maybe it's because they're the Ice Nation but does "Azgeda" remind anyone else of "Asgard"?

Trump delenda est...I still can't unsee Captain Charles Vane when I see the Ice Nation prince. Lets hope future episode's help with that.
"You can reply to this Message!"The Woods Clan should be called Trigeda as with the Ice Nation they are called Azgeda.
The people of the Woods Clan call themselves Trikru. Kru means people.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre Adventure....Really? I actually thought they called themselves the "Tree Crew" and the orbit people "Sky Crew".
Comes with watching Season 1 and 2 in german and then being too lazy to wait for the dub, I guess.
"You can reply to this Message!"Yeah, they've never called themselves "Trigeda", just "Trikru" (pronounced "Tree Crew").
Though the only clans we've heard named are Trikru (Tree People), Skaikru (Sky People), Azgeda (Ice Nation), and "Floukru" (Boat People). It's unclear how the other nine clans are named.
Geda is based on the word gathering. They haven't called themselves Trigeda even though their language is called Trigedasleng.
They usually call themselves Trikru because they are people from the Woods Clan.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureSo, according the the new promos, Lexa has pitch black blood, and this has significance in the show-confirmed by a production member. Lead theories are this being the factor for 'nightbloods' being possible successors to the commander. Any thoughts on the explanation in universe? Simple mutation? Nanomachines?
