You don't know what you are staring at, but it seems to be some sort of black box with a pale glass eye staring down at you from where it's perched at the top. As you stare into the eye it emits a pale blue beam that passes over you, a voice whispers into your head "With enough power, anyone can be a god". As your eyes adjust and your brain takes in the sight you realize that the black box has opened and inside is a softly glowing panel. You step in and touch it. Stats Clarification.

"You can't have 0 or negative stats. I battled with this one for a while, but it seems you guys are more of a casual crowd, so stats may only be reduced to 1 remaining point. Any further reduction is ignored.

Dexterity
Dexterity is complex and is really only used in close quarter combat, recovering from being knocked down, and item switching. This is all eyeballed. Feel free to argue with me in the discussion thread, but make sure never take it personal, I make mistakes.

Durability
Not going to lie. Mostly will be Eyeballing this. Here is some hints: Mesh users are really not going to want to be hit by anything stronger than the magnum; One can block a blast from the wave motion gun, in theory. lol

Mobility
1 mobility equals a 10 foot jump and you take 8 seconds to reach max speed. +10 feet and -minus one second to reach max speed for every point

Recovery
Energy Regeneration
7= Instant Recharge
6=5 mins
5=15 mins
4=30 mins
3=1 hour
2=2 hours
1=4 hours
You don't need to be on empty to recharge. Hitting empty requires a full recharge. A level 7 recovery takes about 6 hours to fully repair. A level 6 in half a day. A level 5 takes a day. A level 4 repairs after three days. A level 3 takes a week. A level 2 takes takes 2 week. A level 1 takes a month. Repair happens over time, unless suit is rendered unusable, in which case it must be repaired completely before ti can be reused. A suit needs a living user to repair. If user dies, suit shuts down and can not be repaired.

Size Size 1= 1 size modifier. Suit weighs ~200lbs
Size 2= 1.1 size modifier. Suit weighs ~220lbs
Size 3= 1.5 size modifier. Suit weighs ~300lbs
Size 4= 2.5 size modifier. Suit weighs ~500lbs User located center mass of armor
Size 5= Unique. Counts as a 20 size modifier for strength purposes.
40 foot tall construct. Suit weighs ~40,000 lbs.
Whoops. Accidentally mech'd in the power armor.
So a 6 foot person is 6 feet in mesh, 7 in light, 9 in medium, and 15 foot in Heavy.

Speed
Comes in two categories:
Ground and water travel is base 25 mph. Each point in speed is a multiplier.
Flight speed is base 160 mph. Each point in speed is a multiplier.
Strength
Will be eyeballed most and I expect many arguments about it. Base lifting power is 1000lbs. Each point in strength is a multiplier multiplied against your suit size modifier.

Question: I was crunching the numbers and the physics on these suits are completely stupid and things don't scale right.
Answer: That wasn't a question.

Question: It seems like mass is coming from nothing, where is it coming from?
Answer: The robotic-suit dimension.

Question: How does collapsible work?
Answer: Mesh and Lights suits are collapse down to things that one can easily slip into a pocket. Weighs <5lbs. Medium suits and heavy suits can collapse down to items of clothing. Medium weighs 5 and heavy weighs 10 pounds. Fortress can collapse to luggage size. Weighs 100lbs.

Question: How much emphasis is their on suit combat?
Answer: Honestly? Depends. If you go all Solid Snake in a perma cloaked Mesh Suit, probably never. If you go all murder hobo in downtown New York? Probably every post will about being shot by tanks, suits and other things.

Question: Some things are free and some things don't have a price. What does it mean?
Answer: Things that don't have a price can only be taken once and are considered a base upgrade. Storage, Revolver, and Tranquilizer Darts are errors and cost 5-10 points.

Question: I put all my points into weapons. How do I use all of them?
Answer: How many hands do you have? Do you have a combat AI? What controls are you using? Roughly the amount of weapons you can use at once is influenced by firstly your controls. A manual user is going to have to a very bad time between firing and aiming. The amount of hands you have is equal to amount you can have out at a time, plus each suit has a different amount of weapons mounted to your suit(Wrist, shoulder, arm, etc.)

Answer: Poorly. Hand waving it as some sorta alien plexiglass instead of an exposed canopy, so you won't put down a Sexy+Fortress Combo with a head-shot.

Question: I think that (item, stat, weapon, physics) would be better if you (Reduced cost, changed it, ignored it, enforced it), so are you willing to change it?

• Character Description: A somewhat plain, dark haired young woman. Slender, stands at about 1,75 meters tall. Fair skinned and with a very light dusting of freckles on her shoulders and face. Determined and an idealist placed in a situation where they feel like they amount to nothing, afraid of situations beyond their control. That is, until the moment of Suitfall. Once she finds her suit, her base form will be upgraded with her melding together with the alien machine. Confidence will swell within her and she'll use the power obtained to bring change where she believes is needed.
• Character Location: Mountain Forest - City - Venezuela
• Suit Description: A near featureless suit of light grey body armor. The helmet front is a dark, circular crystalline sphere which shows nothing of the one using it yet might display things as if it was a screen, with two mechanical long antenna's connected to the side of the head, lightly resembling ears. On the back of the suit there are four other long mechanical blade like constructs touching at the shoulders which enable flight, glowing one the edges at the moment to fly to the skies. When in use they float without touching the suit, however they carry it in flight by mysterious means. Of the four, the middle ones are shorter, reaching the lenght of a human arm while the ones on the edges are about double that lenght. On the hips of the suit hang two Beam Sabres, on the lower back is attached the Sharpshooter in a more combat form when not in use and the plasma bow splits into two pieces which hang from the back. On the wrists and lower legs there are thrusters which help stabilize fligth and do sudden movements and manuevers with greater speed. From the wrist are also fired both grappling hooks. The suit can collapse into a wrist borne accesory.

Right, so I'm working on stating up a Fortress designed for a command center role, a bit less combat oriented, and more utility.

Also, I note that Fortress mechs can carry around people in Mesh and Light (I'm assuming Light, it doesn't seem like a stretch) suits. Fun times, no?

Strange trend so far. On /tg/ most guys were going mesh, on here they are mostly going fortress. Mind you, 4 isn't enough for a conclusive comparison, but it is still worth noting.

Also nobody took advance canvas. I thought being close to deathproof would be loved, then again maybe they think anything that will hit them will finish them.

Yes, but he's not that Bright as that Bright doesn't exist in this universe I would presume because there is no Foundation. He's this universe's version of Bright.

Armor > Regeneration. I would rather not get hit than be able to come back from extreme damage.

Isn't regeneration and healing what the Hydra nanites do? Canvas allowed you to change your appearance, no?

You are correct, lol, I made a mistake and meant to put Advance Hydra gave you close to death regeneration.

Hmmm in that case will be moving a couple of my upgrades... Will be taking down Night Vision and Adhesion to obtain both Advanced Hydra and Advanced Myrcellum.

How exactly does brain implant work?

It does the same thing the nerve suit does, you suit becomes an extension of you and is controlled by thought, unlike the nerve suit you can remote pilot your suit while in comms range rather than having to be inside it. You can also communicate with your drones and AI, and see anything your suit sees or detects, while in comms range

This all is an extra sense and doesn't actually effect your other senses.lol

Is affected by your comms. If your comms is only the Radio Transmitter you will lose contact with your Suit, Ai, and Drones when either you or it are being affected by a Scrambler.

• Character Age: 62 (Mentally 26/27ish, physically looks 26 as well)
• Character Description: Buck loved the seventies. Fast cars, fast women, fast liquor. He had a real cool life going, owned his own mechanic ship by 21. On May 25th, 1977, he got into a half-drunk argument with a woman whose name he can't remember while driving back from the movie theater. They were on the subject of what the sound of the 'lifesavers' in the movie they had just seen reminded them of, and she threw herself at him in a fury, inadvertently shifting the transmission and causing him to swerve off the road. Buck survived, but spent the rest of his life in a coma. Until he woke up in the future staring at a phone booth, and after feebly stepping inside, was wearing some weird-ass comic book bullshit that happened to be inside.
  He's like six feet tall, average build, pale white skin (almost like he hasn't been outside in a few decades), has black hair that's about 1-inch, a perpetual five o'clock shadow, and pointy ears.
• Character Location: City. Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
• Other Character Information: Was in a coma between May 26, 1977, and the day he got his suit. The elf magic-healy-stuff from fusing with his suit caused him to morph back into something roughly similar to what he was like back then, instead of a frail bedridden 62-year-old man. But with pointy ears. When the suit is collapsed, it turns into his liver, which he kinda needs to survive.

• Character Description: A retired U.S Marine turned fighter pilot turned scientist/engineer after an accident that cost him much one the use of his left leg and arm Drake is a rough man though also enjoying to pass the time by gambling though not to the degree of a certain other doctor he knows. He is often strict, serious and with a can of beer nearby. He have numerous Ph.D's in physics and its appliance.

• Suit Description: The suit is rather birdlike with long, sharp, talons on his hands and feet, those on the hands are retractable, the head is smooth and rounded, the entire face being just a visor. He have a number of rocket engines mounted on his back like wings, they can be redirected in many different angles to increase mobility. It is coloured alternating dull grey and shining white/chrome. The Magnum and Pulse rifle can attach magnetically to the suit, the rifle to the back and the revolver to his hip, the missile launcher and the Wave-Motion Gun however is not completely standalone weapons but are rather alternative modes of the Pulse Rifle. The A.I goes by the name of Angel and have a feminine persona.

• Character Name: Jasper Roydon
• Character Age: 26
• Character Description: Long brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. Usually found wearing shorts and a t-shirt emblazoned with some fictional logo. A hacker and nerd, Jasper does not like politicians and their constant attempts to (in his opinion, at least) shackle the internet. He considers himself politically active, in the sense that he has leaked embarrassing photos from politicians' phones several times, taken down whitehouse.gov for a day with the help of some of his friends, and reconfigured traffic cams to give the Speaker of the House a ticket every time he left Capitol Hill. He was expecting the law to come for him eventually, and began to worry if he would survive in jail. Then a box fell from the sky and crushed his car in front of his eyes one morning. Any anger he had about his car vanished when he stepped in, replaced by a maniacal glint in his eye. It was officially Fun Time.
• Character Location: Suburbs. A small house in Falls Church, Virginia (just outside of Washington DC).
• Suit Description: A very dark blue suit with similarly-colored jet wings on its back. The maneuvering rockets are also on the wings, both front and back, as the actual jets are on the bottom. Its left hand (the power fist) larger than it's right. An extendable wrist laser blade is hidden in its right hand, and a rail rifle the same color as the suit is mounted on the right shoulder.
