If I remember right, earlier definitions for libido weren't purely sexual. It is involved, but it's not the focus.
Not Three Laws compliant.why else do you think Touya needed a female big breasted co-pilot?
It does look like a mix of Gunbuster and Heroman, doesn't it? And I'm loving it.
Here's to hoping Bandai makes a Robot Damashii or Super Robot Chogokin figure out of this. Or maybe to hoping Sen-Ti-Nel makes this a Riobot figure.
Do we know how big it is, yet?
Watch Symphogearit actually reminds me of Junketsu◊

IIRC, Junketsu's design was partially inspired by Gunbuster.
Someone pointed out that Daichi choosing to pilot a robot quickly shows that he has the leadership and initiative of a captain.

Captain Boomerang best MC.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I really hate Salty Dog. I mean, there's a difference between being strict and just being nasty.
Not Three Laws compliant.and according to the preview , he causes the Earth Engine to malfunction in the next episode. dude's a grade-A asshole. He may be an agent for the Ark faction, which would explain causing the Earth Engine to malfunction and thus trying to force the Intercept faction to give up. hmmm, the plot thickens
Episode 2 was alright. People are still having dialogues consisting 33% of sci fi words with no given meaning to sound mysterious and ominous; the supposed villains have goals; we still don't know what these are. Those headsets are extremely cumbersome, like wouldn't it make more sense to put tracking chips in their arms? Pokemon apparently exist in this world. Promises of showing off your boomerang skills made when you were 11-ish are extremely important.
The thing to take away from this is that Daichi doesn't follow the rules and can summon a gun with his mind now.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.As long as they get to the explanations earlier than in Eureka Seven, I'll be okay with it. That show had the crew of the Gekkostate actively hide things from Renton...just to be jerks apparently. At least the scientist guy here keeps "accidentally" letting things slip, even if it's not that much yet.
The headsets create that high-pitched noise that's apparently really painful. It's sort of like an electric fence in that way. Just being able to tell where they are isn't good enough if they can wander out.

Not Three Laws compliant. It seems there are some references to A Midsummer Nights Dream.
Robin Goodfellow, or Puck, is a fairy from the play.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I'm sure they could make a chip that would give them a non-harmful shock, or even a bracelet. Meanwhile it doesn't even look like it would be comfortable to sleep in any position other than on your back with that headset and it would probably get really sweaty. I guess the headset just looked cooler, and more invasive to make a point about how Teppei and Hana are being treated like prisoners.
Don't forget Macbeth.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Right, of course.
Who wants to take bets on whether the Shakespeare references will mean anything or not?
Also, it seems that Orgone energy is the innate desire to live, to build, and to reproduce. It is the energy that fights death itself. The two kids were unable to generate Orgone because they didn't have a reason to live.
Nice job breaking it, Salty Dog. Good news is that Daichi will show Teppei and Hana how great life is!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0So I wonder if Daichi was able to call the gun like that because it told him too.
Considering they were saying it has a will of its own.
meanwhile, Captain Earth and his Earth Engine need more Rocket Punch.
One Strip! One Strip!I don't think that's the guy's name, just the organization. So it's an organization of obstructive bureaucrats.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0Code name or not, it's still extremely fitting.
One Strip! One Strip! So, everyone, true or false:
- Puck is lying through his virtual teeth, and is generally about as trustworthy as his namesake.
- That guy with the ugly hair has a good reason for acting like a sack of dicks.
- The girl with the flute is the magic gun.
- The villains are all kinds of fun to watch.
I'm going with true for all four, by the way.
Disagree about the villains, they honestly annoy me. I hope he has a reason. For acting like a sack of dicks.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.The villain duo are clearly Team Rocket, and the as-of-yet unnamed CEO is Giovanni. Not sure whether Puck is trustworthy or not, but at this point, I don't see any motivation for him to lie. I mean, he'd need a motive to subvert his purpose, even if he's an AI.
I get the feeling Salty Dog will be given some kind of sad backstory later on that will make his motives understandable but not sympathetic, yeah.
Flute Girl is either Daichi's Livelaster or Hana's adorable pet pokemon (look at its fur and eyes compared to the girl's) or both.
Also, I don't really get where complaints about technobabble are coming from. I can't think of a single term so far that isn't reasonably comprehensible in context, and anything that isn't fully understandable will obviously be explained later as part of the show's driving questions.

GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsSeems Kiltgang is a mistranslation on Crunchyroll's part. The official website has it as Kill-T-Gang.
http://captain-earth.net/character/kill-t-gang.php
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFmGNqji4u0I've read enough hard and soft science fiction that I was able to pick out what most of the technobabble meant, so that doesn't bother me.
Our steroidal Heroman seems to have a pirate hat on its head, heh heh.
I want the Salty Dog guy to suffer.
The fact I'm getting serious Dr. Ver vibes from him isn't helping.
"Yup. That tasted purple."
Suddenly, Super Robot Wars Judgement became a lot more lewd.
