Might as well set the next post at the Outpost Ruins. I don't particularly want to roleplay a bunch of armored dudes following a protocol droid on foot a few blocks.
Flesh is a design flaw. This is your captain speaking. We have reached cruise attitude and we are now travelling at the comfortable speed of Plot.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundI'm okay with Taco handwaving Jax following along, too. I figure he's probably the one to have dibs on what it looks like over there.
And meanwhile, it seems like Sairin will be the one to miss going to the ruins since she plans on making a formal expedition the next day :P
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Should I get Gorlash in on some of the action or will everybody be visiting the bar again?
I don't foresee us returning there soon. Carin is still at Zelska's too if I'm not mistaken. Of course, he apparently works there.

Flesh is a design flaw.Hey, Savant? Kohyardh didn't say anything about Isica being a Jedi out loud, he said it over the comms to Jax.
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundAh, right. I'll edit.
It's been fun.Illustrations.◊ I hope that link works as intended. I may upload a sketch of Uziel himself at some point in the future as well.

Flesh is a design flaw.Is there a problem the Carin works there? I was thinking it was only a temporary thing
No, it was a good way to put Carin in the middle of things. I just think it's a funny job for an ex-assassin.

Flesh is a design flaw.Ah, Liver, the fight's going on in the middle of the burnt-out Sith base. Though yeah, I would like an official statement on how far away it is from town, Stygian.
It's been fun.Maybe he just likes parking the bike there cause it's healthy to walk?

The droid is insistent that it's within sight of Zelska's, while I think it should be at least far enough away from the Klovaanis Spaceport for the fight to not draw authorities. Let's just say that Zelska's isn't literally across the road from the spaceport, just that it's the closest place with food. The ruins and Zelska's are near to eachother. Don't make me draw a map.

Flesh is a design flaw. That's why I'm asking; it seems vaguely ridiculous to have a burnt-out Dark Side base within view of the city center, unless we're talking 'visible on the horizon'.
It's been fun.I don't think a rural, backwater, frontier planet with a capital 'city' that can barely be considered a town, hardly supports its spaceport, and is so undermanned and underfunded they can't even repel the token splinters of the military forces of both galaxy-spanning governments that want to steal their stuff is really going to have the spare resources or time to bother with the full removal of a military base.
Sorry to be selfish on this post but is the speeder bike thing fine?
The population I put in the first post makes Klovaanis small for a city, but still a legitimate city. I can change that if it makes more sense.
@ Fantasy Liver: I wouldn't think that the fight would occur anywhere that would threaten damage to the bike, but I do want Gorlash to be involved somehow.
Flesh is a design flaw.Maybe, since Gorlash cares so much for his bike, he parked it far away from the cantina so none of the typical shady characters who dwell in Star Wars cantinas would even get a chance to see it, let alone steal it. Also, Gorlash knows that with a Force-powered individual and a Mandalorian with a jetpack, the fight is likely going to be moving across the city and, thus, poses a risk to his bike.
@Nman: My point is, it's not the kind of thing you'd just see on Main Street between the barber's and the farmers' co-op.
It's been fun. It's a landmark. They probably cleaned it up a bit, but like l mentioned, it's sort of a monument against imperialism. Do these details badly need to be addressed? It would require a fair bit of editing, especially on Taco's part.
@ Fantasy Liver: Sounds good.
@ Daltar: Maybe the fight could draw her attention in some way? I don't know if we all need to explore these ruins at the same time but I don't want you to feel left out.
@ Nman: Uziel's armor does not have repulsorlifts, or weapons ports for that matter. He's not that cool. I meant to use the AV-1c armor as an example of size only... I guess that was misleading. On the bright side, I can't think of a logical reason Jaxon couldn't just hop around and shoot Uziel well outside his range until the Sith's armor finally breaks. Best he can do is toss rubble at Jaxon or hope the jetpack gives out first.

Flesh is a design flaw. You're still thinking of the standards of a rather well-off American city, though. I'd imagine that unless there's some unknown factors that would severely elevate their economic or political status, a place like this has more in line with a rundown city in a former Soviet state. Like Kazakhstan.

Sorry, just noticed that edit. I think it might be good to double-post from now on, since I think people are on the watchlist.
I'd also think that the Sith outpost should be some distance away from the actual city. It does have a Governor and they managed to single handedly run away a military outpost manned by the militaristic Sith, so it's not necessarily a small outpost with twenty houses and a single general store.
Furthermore, if the Sith emplacement was right in the middle of town, that implies more of a short lived conquest of the planet than merely settling a forward base that got repelled.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.
I'm going to try to move us to the Sith outpost ruins for our "battlefield," so Beegee may need to lead us there.
