Every once in a while, I go back and archive binge it. When it's good, it's amazing. Unfortunately, most of the time, it's really esoteric humor.
And then sometimes, it's hardly intended to be funny at all. Which can be fine, too, even when they're not my cup of tea. Hey, if somebody else enjoys them... I know I've contributed things that have been misses for others, but I hope I entertain some people with at least some of mine. (Just as I am entertained by contributors both more and less prolific than I.)
How — and when — do you tell a philosophy it's adopted? What do you do when it wants to meet its birth adherents?And then sometimes, someone responds to a post over a year old. (Not that you don't have a valid point, but do try to read timestamps before posting, and make it clear you are intentionally necroing.)
With that out of the way...yeah, it's not exactly for everyone. The original Garfield Minus Garfield makes sense in comparison, but in the words of Bill Watterson, this is just "weirdness for weirdness' sake, and doesn't hold up very well".
