Wild Bunch:
Your move.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThis is definitely up there for me, the scream Warren Oates lets out when he's behind that machine gun sends chills down my spine everytime. Also, the shootout in Open Range is incredible.

You can get what you want and still not be very happy. Can't believe it took until the fourth post for HEAT to be mentioned!
Does the "duel" in Back To The Future Part 3 count?

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I think it'd be more appropriate to name the showdown in A Fistful Of Dollars considering the duel from BTTF 3 is lifted from it almost entirely.

You can get what you want and still not be very happy.Gentlemen.
Don't forget Equilibrium!
Rolling Thunder has a great shootout in it. Very underrated revenge flick.
And you gotta have plenty of Sam Peckinpah when you're lisiting film shootouts. The Wild Bunch has already been mentioned but here's a good one from The Getaway. Awesome use of a shotgun.

You can get what you want and still not be very happy.Man, what is it about Sam Peckinpah that makes him so good at intense and bloody gunfights?
Oh, here's another favorite of mine:
Did I mention that he does all that while carrying a baby?

The Last Rambo Movie. Final Fight Scene with the .50 Cal. Warning rather bloody.
He was a mean, hard drinking sonnuva bitch and it shows completely in his films.
You can get what you want and still not be very happy. If we're talking Judge Dredd, I prefer this one:
I like some tactics in my gunfights.
Man, watching these just makes me realize just how shitty female roles are in these kinds of movies. A lot of women screaming ineffectually and pointless horrified reaction shots (useless female missionary in Rambo, I'm looking at you).
What about Dredd and The Matrix? Oh, or Robocop?
Back to awesome gunfights, I'm surprised no one posted this one yet:
Best use of The Oner ever. Take notes Shyamalan; this is how you don't mess up long takes.
If the Django Unchained one is the one from the Candieland ranch after Leonardo diCaprio is killed I didn't like that; totally ruined the tone of the film IMO.
I'm going to go with the bank job in Heat.

Christ, is Chow Yun-Fat holding some kind of pump-action grenade launcher?

That is at best a small part of what is basically one long extended gun fight scene.
Who watches the watchmen?GUIZ, the best one EVA is from Hard Streets. There's a gun and it's a fight, so...

That was just...beautiful.
Also, Dredd was awesome.
Agreed, but the example I gave was plenty tactical. Dredd and Anderson only attacked when they held an overwhelming advantage.
With cannon shot and gun blast smash the alien. With laser beam and searing plasma scatter the alien to the stars.
Had made similar threads in the Anime and Yack Fest sections, but I wanted to focus this one specifically on films. As the title implies, what are your favorite gunfights in films? Any film counts, so long as you specify the gunfight. Also, do try to link to said fight, so we can experience the awesomeness.
Might as well kick the list off with my favorite:
Not just the best gunfight in the film, but the best one ever in my opinion.
