They could just be airing reruns on XD and premiering the new episodes on the main channel.

Eh.Plus, I doubt most subcribers who watch GF & WOY have Disney XD. So that wouldn't work.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justice-barely airs premieres to make way for either TV movie premieres, or because they goddamn feel like it-
-moves shows over to the XD dumping ground-
Okay.

They aired premieres of Phineas And Ferb episodes on Disney XD a long time ago and that didn't kill that show.
Either way, there's always just watching it on the internet.

Insert witty 'n clever quip here. But there's the danger of the shows being cancelled due to low ratings...
...Ex - Fucking - Actly... And these aren't Canadian Cartoons, either. People will care if these shows aren't in their homes and ultimately canned due to lacking viewership.
Hence we forget, Disney XD is in fewer homes than the normal channel - unless they're treated well, which they likely won't be, this may be the end for both shows.
And so, Disney Channel has once again become one big target for malignment by everyone, thanks to this move... But for good reasons, as per usual to malign them.....
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.I hate you, Disney Channel.
Y'all in this board really like to overreact to every little thing.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.My issue here, hence my complaints, are that these shows will not be treated well on Disney XD and will likely be cancelled - and that would suck - this isn't like Kick Buttowski or any forgettable Canadian Cartoons (some which I do, like, BTW - but I know the cold hard truth about why they're there and just how well received they are by American Audiences today...) used to fill space. This is a problem... One that traces back to bead leadership and bad decision - making by those at the top.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.But seriously you guys (especially you, kyun) need to calm down and realize this is hardly anything at all, let alone a bad thing.
While I do agree everyone (Myself included) is being WAY too negative... this may lead to the death of the best cartoon Disney Channel has ever had. (Im talking about Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder is mediocre)
Maybe the new episodes will randomly air first on Disney XD similar to what they do with Phineas and Ferb on occasion.
Just checked now that it's 9:25 PM. At 9 PM, Fish Hooks aired on the Disney Channel. I just went to wiki and noticed that this ep and the next one are crossed out, saying that "episodes air on Disney XD first."
Bummer.

I'm almost certain this is an attempt to get people to buy Disney XD or something like that. Either way, why is this a bad thing again? It seems so many people are like "WELP" or "Oh fuck... time to throw in the towel, guys?"
It really does seem like huge overreacting on everyone's part, is all.
I agree with you. It seems more like a personal problem for those with cabel, not the network's.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceDid a new episode not air yesterday?
It's a problem because not everyone has Disney XD, which is likely to lower ratings, which could cancel the show entirely.
I think that's the reason why they're doing this. They want XD to be in more households, so why not move some popular shows there for more awareness of the channel.
I know it sounds crazy, but it makes sense from a viewership standpoint.
But, see, if they only air on Disney XD: Gale of Darkness first, then obviously that means they air on Diet Disney Channel Classic eventually. I mean, honestly, it's not like putting the premieres on Disney LOL is an automatic death knell.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I keep seeing Disney animated films on Disney Junior. WHAT THE FUCK??"
Another reason is that they may have thought, after a while, that WOY is boy-centric, and doesn't quite belong on their main channel which tends to be aimed towards girls.
It's like Disney movies appeals to little kids or something.

No. They appeal to all ages.
I hope this is either...
A-False
or
B-Temporary
