"Hurricane Phyllis" really opened up A new book for questions: Who the Hell is Damien?!

Also, hai Mike Judge.

If it's the same Damien, then he's possibly the one Nature Kate is cheating on Joshua with.

[up][up]So that was him! I was confused if it was him or Jeff Bennet. It really shocked me to hear Hank Hill's voice in Clarence.

That's just my guess. I could be wrong. But that definitely sounded like Hank.

Damien's obviously Mary's ex-husband, Clarence's Disappeared Dad. That was why there were comparisons established with Chad, the "replacement" for Damien.

It was a weird reference to Hank Hill out of nowhere, there. You hear Hank's voice, but he's not acting like Hank. Maybe it's actually a reference to that neighbor from Beavis And Butthead, also voiced by Mike Judge, and who was the sorta-template for Hank.

The guy seemed a bit of a jerk-ass as well, since he didn't even know Clarence's name. Then Dillis also didn't seem to know much about Clarence either (obviously because Mary can't stand her).

Sneak peek for "Hoofin' It" is out (credit to Cartoon Network's official You Tube page).

Synopsis: "Everyone's excited for the annual Aberdale Greased Pig Chase, except for Clarence."

Seems to have a new airtime thanks to Uncle Grandpa getting moved to 5:00 for new episodes, it now airs at 5:30/4:30 central.

Wow, that escalated quickly

Edit: I also noticed that Clarence grunted "Dillis!" when the farmers woke him up while they were moving the cage.

Well, that was quite a hilarious episode. Of course Jeff would sew the sash onto his shirt...

Poor Jeff. His only sin is trying too hard.

Not ashamed to admit that the funniest part was when Clarence presented an extra-long fart as his show-and-tell.

Wow, that episode was just... wow. Seems the fat scooter lady is the "Sandy" Mary worries about. Also, half of the gay couple from "Neighborhood Grill" works there, and his name is Kevin.

Felt like a kind of story that would be told in an early 90's coming-of-age story.

That was the point, i think. It was a riff on old coming of age stories, though ultimately delightfully pointless in the way of many Clarence episodes.

This also seems to further confirm that Chad has no permanent job. Mary, on the other hand, seems to be a manager, i assumed she was just a hairdresser.

I've known women much like Sandy...

As part of this shorts thing Cartoon Network is doing, Clarence gets one titled "Beauford T. Pusser".

Synopsis: "Inspired by the short "Every Child", an orphan kitten is passed from kid to kid in the neighborhood."

Beauford T. "Pusser"?

I don't like the way that sounds.

I really love the spoken sound effects. Gave the short a lot of charm.

[up]There's going to be an episode bomb two weeks from now. The show's been absent because for the summer (and likely just for the summer) CN has switched to episode bombs for 1 or 2 shows each week instead of weekly premiers

[up] Sumo looks incredibly off-model at 0:17.

[up]That seems to be intentional, judging by the sound he(somehow) makes. It happened earlier in the episode when Clarence is going on a date when their on the computer.

Depending on the order, the video game episode contains a call-forward or callback to the creepy doll episode, where Clarence finds it in the thrift store box.

Neat!
