This show should be allowed to last more than 2 seasons, indefinitely - just so we can have a sliceoflife show from CN just for once. God willing they need one. While it doesn't look like something I'd pay attention to all that much, it does have potential, thankfully enough.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.While the animation is rather mediocre at best, and Clarence's voice irks me now and then, I will admit that this show has some low-key... charm, that makes it enjoyable. With the craziness of Regular Show and Adventure Time and Gumball, it's nice to see a program about a couple kids enjoying life in their own weird ways. Animated. I'll keep watch for it.
THE BEES! THE BEES!Apparently created by a storyboard artist for both Adventure time AND Secret mountain force awesome! If he can work on some thing so cool and something so wrong and come out with this, he knows exactly what he's doin'.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceThe first official episode was good, but boy gross. And like i thought, the style of animation is cutesy, kind Steven Universe and Rick And Morty like.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceYotsuba wasn't already male?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceAfter seeing this, I'm willing to give it a chance. Looks pretty neat.
Though it did remind me of how kids' hands can often be sticky and you have no way of knowing what regions they've erstwhile probed.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefIt's obvious that care and effort was put into this, but...it's still pretty bad.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Well, it's just kicking off. You have to let it grow, and the style is meant to be messy and blocky, since this is a boy's fantasy of Azumanga Daioh.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceIsn't Regular show, without all the wierdness, deep inside a slice of life?
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceSo after watching the first episode a few second ago, I believe that Clarence, while needing some work, is pretty good. A lot of it really worked, and it kind of felt real (character wise).
Let's see if this show continues to be good.
Yes, yes it is - THIS show we're talking about is just more realistic about it (but actually engaging enough, going by our first episode, of course), however.
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.During the first episode, I was beginning to wonder who exactly we're supposed to be rooting for! Clarence was incredibly insensitive and rude to his friend's personal issues and it was only until the very end where I realized what the writers were doing. So I'm glad it turned out fine, and the ending made the episode very good. I too have some form of obsessive habit of making everything neat and particular. Clarence was simply being a little kid too, which is what this show is all about. The second episode also brings up the idea of the boys' curiosity with the opposite sex, moving all the time, and single parents, so I'm also glad to know that this isn't simply a show for kids after all, and is a bit more than that.
.... does Clarence have some..... special traits? I don't mean to be forward. I was just wondering since he talks in a very... particular way.

I say he's just country and talks like he ate gum.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceI just think Clarence is suppose to be a normal kid. Because I mean things like that are just what normal Kids do. I don't get the vibe of "He may have some Mental Problems like ADD or something" from him, at least not yet...
Yeah many kids can't talk clearly. Also, where does this show take place?
... I had NO idea Sumo is voiced by Tom Kenny! I would NEVER have known that's him!
You'd be surprised how much range he has when he's not playing a spongy manchild.
For example:
He also does work as Rick!
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceNo that's Lemongrab/the show's creator. Unless there's a character on Clarence called Rick, in which case I'm just stupid.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatNo, Rick and Morty was what I was talking about. But he does... something on there.
Dakota's blog An odd agent of justiceHe was the Child Raping Jelly Bean King. He might have done other small roles on the show, but I know for a fact that he was the Child Raping Jelly Bean King.
Clarence is a Cute show, I was preparing for the worst like a bratty male lead but turns out he is a sweet kid. It has a very Hey Arnold meets Muppet Babies vibe. So I believe comparing it to Bread Winners is wrong... lol I watched one episode of that and just couldn't motivate myself to watch anymore of it.
iMHO, Bread Winners is all about Totally Radical, while Clarence... I feel ike each episode, like Steven Universe, is all about Growing the Beard. It needs no magic, adult references, talking gumball machine, Or Time plots. Just a regular realistic way a cartoon should be.

Kinda like Bread Winners, this one is kinda hit and miss, but the first ep was kinda nice and pretty down to Earth. I thought it was going to be random and surreal just like THAT OTHER SHOW(I mean he looks like a childhood version of him.) But it was a pretty nice look at child life, like Out There. Your opinions?
