It fits for this trope. Vehicular Combat is all about actually using vehicles to fight; this is shooting from one car at another.

Vehicular Combat is a video game genre, per the page. The current on Vehicular Assault doesn't look like that at all.

This is showing vehicle vs. vehicle, so it's a much better illustration of Vehicular Combat.
Vehicular Assault it supposed to be guy in vehicle vs. guy without vehicle.
