Hoozuki no Reitetsu

Thought it was a shame this didn't have a thread, so here you go.

For the uninitiated, this is story about a highly competent middle manager, who makes sure things run smoothly in Hell. Specifically, Japanese Hell.

Joyful little series. I find it hard to watch through many episodes in one sitting though. Best followed weekly, rather than waiting for it to completely finish and then watch.

Certainly. It is a slice-of-afterlife, which are usually hard to marathon. (YMMV)

A literal killer rabbit for a change. Hozuki is right — older fairy tales tend to be hilariously bloody. They're meant to teach a lesson after all!

Oh great, it has a thread now.

It was a tanuki. Stupid subtitles.

But DAMN YOU TANUKI just doesn't have that punch to it.

Episode 6 introduces yet more zany characters, such as idol Peach Maki, a nekomata tabloid journalist, and most memorably Beelzebub, who gained common ground with Hoozuki over maid outfits. He also types in not perfect, but Surprisingly Good English .

Episode seven: In which we discoverw hat hell the cast of Tonari No Kaibutsu Kun ended up in.

Haru and Mitty are still together in hell, d'awww.

Nice to see Hell thinking of ways to deal with the masochist crowd.

Update: still really enjoying this anime.

Episode 12: In which we find out that Hozuki is bad at ball games because his instinct is to bash them into people.

"I have no interest in seducing married women, so I introduced her to someone who does."

So excited for June-July. *_*
