Oh, I am over this. Dibs on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I'm fairly interested, but...I'm not sure if my team idea would be a good one.
What idea is it?
I'm interested. Now what to pick though...
Vote. .#Bayonetta 4 SmashHonestly, I was hoping to bring in the Problem Sleuth crew, since I just started to re-read it...
They could probably work pretty well for some events...and then kind of fail at others, but losing an Olympic event isn't like death or anything. Just pride damaging.
I more meant along the lines that they are technically silent protagonists, as every course of dialogue is only vaguely mentioned in the second person.
Hm...they might have to talk then. Or have your posts mirror that format and have every other character be very confused about the weird narration at first.
Interested.
-Spider Lizard Noises-Possible interest.
Possibly, as a member of the Yu Gi Oh Abridged Series cast. Especially if I can convince others to join as TAS characters
Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.You have to sign up as an entire team.
Well, that's just my syntax at work. I'm just saying I probably would have to choose some of them. And there are some characters I think I'd get very wrong, and it'd be better to collaborate on the team with someone else. Anyway, thinking of using...
- Yugi/Yami
- Joey, nyeh
- Tristan for events that require SUPER STRENGTH
- Duke Devlin
- Seto Kaiba
- Some British wanker I think was in the show.

Curse the ill fortune that led you to me.Okay, that's fine.
Actually, I'm gonna hold out on this one for now.

Possibly might join as Abe, Munch and Big Face, or perhaps Molluck
Not exactly from the same universe but I was considering a group from the Pulp Magazine genre. The Shadow, Doo Savage, Conan the Barbarian etc. Barring that maybe Doc and his crew or several of Robert E Howards characters, some of whom, like Conan, Kull and Bran Mac Morn definitely existed in the same universe, likewise Edgar Rice Burroughs creations

Trump delenda estI kinda want every character in a team as part of the same series. It just makes things a little easier, you know?
I added to my post so look up and see if any of the alternatives appeal.
Trump delenda estYeah, one of those is fine.
Interest! I'd like to use the protagonists of the Touhou-games; Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, Sakuya Izayoi, Youmu Konpaku and Sanae Kochiya.
EDIT: Ach, in my surge of interest, I forgot the timestamps. Is this still alive?

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Well, I'd like it to be, but no one's actually signed up yet. I'll give it another week I guess...
Team/group Name: The Incident Resolvers
Series: Touhou
Number of members: 5
Bio: The five main incident resolvers of Gensokyo, they make a habit of poking their nose into things that are going on. Reimu and Marisa are the most senior, and there exists a bit of friendly rivalry between them. Sakuya and Youmu have been sent by their mistresses, and especially Sakuya is more used to working on her own than with the rest of the group. Sanae is the odd one out in the group, being the newest and from the Outside world. Differences aside, there's a friendly tone between this group of individualists.
Equipment: Reimu's Yin-Yang Orbs and gohei, Marisa's broom and Mini-Hakkero, Youmu's swords Roukanken and Hakurouken, Sakuya's set of knives and Sanae's gohei. Also plenty of tea.
——
Name: Reimu Hakurei
Age: Early twenties
Gender: Female
Appearance: Red-White Shrine Maiden.
Personality: A friendly person who gets along with everyone, even monsters. Lazy and carefree, she treats everyone the same, which can be interpreted as rude by some. Very fond of tea.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: The Ability to Float in the Sky, which makes her able to fly. This ability can also be used to float out of reality, making her intangible. A genius Shrine Maiden, she's also highly talented in the use of sealing, purification and barrier arts.
Name: Marisa Kirisame
Age: Late teens
Gender: Female
Appearance: Witch of the Forest of Magic.
Personality: Energetic and hot-blooded, Marisa is a hard worker. She's however also a habitual kleptomaniac and trouble-seeker.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: She's a magician, specializing in light and heat-magic. Is a quick learner, and can replicate her enemies special techniques with enough time and practise. She can utilize her broom to fly.
Name: Sakuya Izayoi
Age: Looks to be in her late teens, but skills and abilities point toward her being much older.
Gender: Female
Appearance: The Perfect and Elegant Maid
Personality: Polite, elegant and calm, Sakuya is the perfect lady's maid. She's highly efficient and loyal to her mistress, the Vampire Lady Remilia Scarlet. Has some odd ditzy moments at times, however.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: Can manipulate time (slow, stop and accelerate), which she uses for everything from dusting to fighting. Also a highly skilled knife fighter/thrower.
Name: Youmu Konpaku
Age: Unknown, looks about mid-teens
Gender: Female
Appearance: The Half-Ghost Gardener.
Personality: Straight-forward and diligent, Youmu is easily tricked and manipulated. Something of a scaredy-cat and afraid of ghost stories...despite being half ghost herself.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: A highly-skilled swordfighter, Youmu can use high-level techniques that make her move in a flash. Her two swords are magical; the long Roukanken is forged by Youkai and can kill ten ghosts in one slash, while the short Hakurouken can slash through confusion. Her ghostly half is intangible and can turn into a copy of the human body.
Name: Sanae Kochiya
Age: Looks and is 17, but is also immortal
Gender: Female
Appearance: Deified Shrine Maiden from the Outside.
Personality: Smart and divine, the deified high school student has a bit of an ego, mollified slightly by being surrounded by people equally powerful as her. Having moved from the Outside World (similar to our world) to the fantasy world of Gensokyo, she is currently in the process of abandoning her common sense to cope with fantastical events. Bad with alcohol.
Skills/Powers/Abilities: Can cause miracles by manipulating low-chance events, but the lower the chance, the more time it takes to prepare the miracle. She can also channel the divine powers of her two goddesses to manipulate the wind and the earth.

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Accepted.
The basic idea is this: A rich and powerful being is bored with their regular routine and decides to make up a game to entertain themselves and all of their lesser subjects in their mighty empire. The concept of a kind of universe spanning olympics is born, and a machine is built to summon competitors to pit against each other in a number of events, from regular sports to more unorthodox tasks.
During the day, the characters summoned go to the events they signed up for, and at night, they can investigate exactly who is trapping them here and how to get back home.
The catch is that every player must use a team or group of characters from a single series. No they don't have to have been in a canon group in series to be placed together. You can even make a team of people that hate each other if you want, like Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf. Just try to lampshade that they don't get along.
The group must have a minimum of three people willing and able to participate in the games, and a maximun of six. Team pets and tag along characters don't count towards the limit, and they can just hang on the sidelines or do non-olympic events in the RP. I'm still developing the entire thing, so feel free to suggest game events and more detailed plot ideas.
Here's the sheet:
And for each person-
