Suggestion is an image macro.
I think we're good, even if we never do figure out the image's source. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Also, what you mean by never find the source?

The image on the page is sourceless.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseWell it certainly strikes me as one, at any rate.
That. Notoriously so, even, because it came up in "Image source needed" a lot.

Moon◊It's all a bit "hah, things are getting so thin they might not exist soon, it's a joke!" and I thought that type of joke was old in 1997.
Well in 1956 it wasn't a joke it was a nightmare!
But I see what you mean it would be a bit cliche to simply show the progression of Technology instead of a juxtaposition of current technology and obsolete technology to a character in a work.

I prefer current so far.
Check out my fanfiction! What exactly is the current demonstrating?
"'Young character trying to use obsolete technology on modern technology"
"Hey, remember when computers used to use 5" floppies? Now they don't! Technology sure marched on, huh?"
Really obvious.
Moon◊"Computers don't have floppy disk drives anymore."
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I mean, okay I think I understand what the image is implying, "5 inch floppy does not do modern laptop" but perhaps it that I'm just not familiar with the context of the work the image is from.
The caption doesn't help much either.
I like both. I have no idea what work that is, apparently nobody does... I don't think that's why.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Oh you mean the ones in 11 and 12 those are nice.
I was referring to the current caption I was referring to the current caption not making sense to me.
Has anyone here tried a "Google Image Similar Search" on the current image and run a backcheck? I would try but I can't do it on the phone.

No, I was talking about the current. "Both" as in "both the image and the caption". Not super strong, but pretty good, and way better than anything suggested.
So far no one has agreed that there is something wrong with the current image. It's not lack of context; nobody has any context, that picture is "infamously" unsourced.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I see... it's that bad huh?
Well I guess that means this is done, kind of stuck in the mud.
So they replaced a terrible image with a mediocre one.
Huh.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elsethanks.
I think the current is more No Backwards Compatibility in the Future.
Effectively that is what it is literally Illustrated yes.
It looks like No Backwards Compatibility in the Future in fact, but I don't know if that trope also applies to past and present technology.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOff the top of my head, I believe the image should illustrate how obsolete the older tech is compared to the modern stuff, and vice-versa, along with the characters' confusion or difficulty grasping the concept instead of showing only modern technology unable to operate obsolete peripherals.
The latter could be included but it must be clear that the character is attempting to use such obsolete technology they may be familiar with, with unfamiliar newer technology or the other way around.
Am I missing something here?

Come to think of it, the current caption doesn't make much sense. If she's a 21st century kid stuck with a 20th century family, then why is she even bothering to use a floppy disk? She shouldn't even know what it is.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Perhaps the image is fine, on the other hand I'm having a little difficulty figuring out what exactly is it illustrating other than a modern-day child having difficulty with obsolete technology on a tv show. With that said I pose this◊ because it actually displays the advancement of technology in relation to the passage of time.
