When that was called Hollywood Driving, there were two IP threads about it ([1] [2]), and in one of them a similar picture was suggested but rejected.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Thanks for the background, but this is solely within the context of the new description and name.
I somewhat like the poster - seems to be the closest to the trope, rather than merely being literal.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYes it is also my favorite for those reasons and more. It provides self-referential context for the image as opposed to just a picture of a guy looking at a guy.
I still think it is not an example. Looks like one, but is not. It is "merely literal".

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. Is that because you feel that it is reliant on the context of the previous and following Frames of video? You feel it lacks motion, yes?
Um, no, as explained in the other threads, because he's not doing the thing described by the article ("the tendency of characters in TV shows or movies who are driving to spend a dangerously long time looking at the person in the passenger seat"), he is flirting with the girl by intentionally not looking at the road.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I understand that, but what illustrates that he is not simply just taking his eyes off the road to flirt with a girl, is dependent on the associated frames in the video (if you're familiar with the particular stunt). Of course, going that far was ehat I was trying to avoid, as it discredits the image by being too literal or may use too many frames... which makes it a moot point on my end.
What about 1.1? Lack of context?

It's true that "it's not an example if you're familiar with the source" is not as serious a criticism as "it doesn't look like an example if you're unfamiliar with the source", but it's still a problem.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Without something lampshading the fact that the driver isn't watching the road, I don't think any pic of he/she just looking at the passenger is going to be adequate.
Well that's why I thought the movie poster with the caption "You might want to keep your eyes on the road Playboy", along with the added motion blur in the driver's side window and the speedometer clocked at 60, would work.
Since if I'm not mistaken, that particular version of the Drive and stare was not posted in the previous threads.

Clock is set.
The drive and stare from 2Fast2Furious was what I instantly thought of when I read the name of the trope. I believe that he is invoking this trope. I guess that doesn't count for that reason, eh?
What bout this that I found just browsing around? [1]◊ It's from Hawkeye.

It is what it is.I had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to download that.
Sorry. What happened? Next time, I can just use the uploader and either put it in the post or in the sandbox.
It is what it is.Flickr just didn't let me download without doing something counter intuitive. No need for sandboxes. Just upload it and show it in a post like I did. That way is easiest for everyone else. It saves people from having to leave the thread.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.19 looks good.
Wait, I just realized 19 is not 2&4-6.
Caption: Watch the road, bro.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.yeah that'll work short sweet.
