@Sabyn Lexis Accepted
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Actually, about his Martial Arts style, I was wondering if it would be possible to create my own style and use that instead of snake style?
Also, the idea I had in mind was that Sabyn learned this Style before being Exalted.
I'm afraid not, for one thing it'd be a terrestrial martial art rather than a celestial, and second it takes generations to invent a style that uses Essence (at least as I understand it)
Also you have 2 points of backgrounds to spend... where do you want them?
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Well, I might look up the Terrestial styles then.
But would it be possible to say that he learnt this style from someone else? Then go with mentor for background like 3Of4 suggested?

That would be possible... but why would you want to know a terrestrial style when the celestial are so much more powerful?
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Well it's mainly a character thing. Remember I mentioned him fighting of those bandits right before being Exalted? Well one of the reasons I felt he was confident enough of his ability to drive them off was because of his Martial Arts skill. This would mean that the style he knows would have to be Terrestial in nature. Unfortunately, I still can't find a style that fits the philosophy I have in mind.
Well capital T Terrestrial would imply he was an essence user before Exaltation which would be unlikely, however he could have his own personal mundane martial arts that since Exaltation he just applies the Snake Style charms to
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?That makes sense. How would the mundane style be represented though?
I would just say as you roleplay, to adhere to the styles philosophy, and in combat, name your attacks, just remember to give a more mundane description as well so I know what to roll.
/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Got it!
And I'll put the last two dots into Mentor (His old Martial Arts instructor)
Oh and, just a little side note: Sabyn is actually a Canon Immigrant from an unpublished work I've had in my head for ages. Though naturally, this Sabyn and the original will be quite different due to differing life experiences (For example, this Sabyn never met Reyn.)
With your backstory the way it is I'll give you a point of Mentor and a point of Cult, and we'll say that when the Wyld Hunt came to town your noble sacrifice inspired them. Cause I can't see a Martial Arts instructor in a backwater town as a figure of some note or exceedingly important individual

/人◕ ‿‿ ◕人\ Will you make a contract with me?Makes sense to me! Sabyn is now the patron God of the cult of: "Not-Being-A-Complete-Dipshit"

- Background Info: Glorious Conflagration of Progress was born to a well off merchant family in Great Forks with connections in high places with the Guild. Growing up, he was given a good education at the finest school at Great Forks. During his education, he fell in love with Alchemy and decided to pursue a career in it, to the disapproval of his parents. He got a connection with an aging alchemist in Great Forks who took him in as an apprentice. During his apprentice-ship, he got involved with a big fight his mentor got into over a concoction he believed would be able to cure people of mete leaf addiction. He and his mentor were ridiculed for it for no one in the alchemical community thought it could work. They called them mad, but still they fought for it because of all the people it would help.
Failing to earn recognition from their peers on it, they turned to the Gulid for funding. This is where their real problems started. The Guild really, really did not want the experiment to be successfully be pulled off. Indeed, they started threatening them to not follow through with it. But they remained defiant. One day, he came to his mentor’s place to find him dead, thanks to an explosion of chemicals he had mixed The scene was arranged to look like he had attempted the experiment, and it had failed, killing him. However, Progress suspected foul play on the part of the Guild. And this solidified his desire to go through with the experiment at all costs. With this in mind, he set to work preparing. He built alchemical grenades and used them to steal from the Guild. Rather than flee from them with the stolen money, he used the money to finance the experiment in Great Forks itself. Secretly in his mentor’s lab, he combined the ingredients just right, glee on his face. The ingredients glowed with power as they began to work, and he glowed as well as he exalted as a Solar. He tried to go public with the cure, but was faced with Guild thugs and sanctions. The lab with all his notes burnt to the ground, with all written copies of the formula destroyed, though he still had it memorized, and he got run out of town by a mob thanks to false accusations hurled at him by the Guild. And, so, he fled Great Forks, and fled from the Guild. He changed his name. Sought refuge elsewhere. But he couldn’t go to the Realm, because he was Anathema. Unsure of what to do, he found himself heading toward Whitewall, but he wasn’t there quite yet.
