Well, if Brain's words in the last panel here
are any indication, he's The Fridge. Or at least the demon from the same dimension as The Fridge or something. I have to say, I didn't expect Logan to revisit that character.
Whatever Brain was originally, he has been possessed by the demon that formerly haunted Sam's fridge. Honestly, I think this would be better for Sam. He's clearly lost sight of his goals since taking over the Ninja Mafia, I think it would be best if he gets out of it (as long as they don't violently dismember him for lying about killing the former emperor or something). Also, Brain now possesses all the codes to the Pit. What now?
IIRC, not all the codes - he still needs to get the one belonging to the head of the robot faction. Logan said it would the focus of the next chapter.
