Nora turns out to not actually be his wife just a woman that Victor Fries became obsessed with. She was frozen before Fries was even born.
In an odd way it pleases me that whatever this show's faults, it has done nothing nowhere near as bad as the Nu52 version of Freeze.
The worst part of season 1 is thankfully only returning for 1 episode.

Oh please. As bad as Fish was (and she was pretty bad), she's still leagues ahead of Barbara or Montoya.
Honestly, I sometimes don't get why I like this show. I look at its parts ("Batman without Batman! Awkward kid Selina Kyle! Writers bashing you over the head with "THIS PERSON BECOMES THE CHARACTER YOU KNOW!" World of Ham! More Scrappies than I can shake a stick at! Plodding Myth Arc that undermines Batman's origin!) and I feel like I should hate it, but I really do enjoy the show. It's just fun.

Barbara and Montoya were bad characters too, but the show didn't give either of them a Trapped by Mountain Lions plot and expected us to be invested in it.
