Cuphead- a 30's-styled, Contra-inspired Run-and-gun indie game

Hooray! I'm the first to talk about this! This game is my new-age answer to Mickey Mouse's "The magical quest" and Ren And Stimpy: A 30's cartoon inspired run-and-gun platformer!

Not to be confused with Hell yeah!

Hope to find this amazing title soon to purchase on Xbox One, PS 4, and hopefully, Wii U sometime soon.

This is great because now they have the tech to create games based on classic cartoons and stick with the art style, like a Popeye/Felix the cat game that doesn't suck.

Well this looks interesting.

Indeed. It's games like this I've wanted for years. It has the colorful imaginative worlds that you'd find in Super Mario, and simple gameplay that seems to be easy enough for even a minor to play, who I think this game will target mostly.

Bad news: The game will, so far, only be exclusive to PC.

To any PC gamers out there: Congradulations, you lucky casual.

I don't believe that, or else there would be more name brand titles on the PC. But, still i'm hoping for a change to happen and it becomes available for download on PS 4, Wii U, and Xbone.

Doom, Half-Life, Portal, Deus Ex, System Shock, Monkey Island, Thief, Baldur's Gate, KOTOR, Warcraft, Starcraft, Age of Empires, Command & Conquer, Duke Nukem?

The game looks interesting, but like a comment on the Youtube video says, I hope that the music isn't going to sound like that throughout.

OK. Mabey "Casual" isn't the right term. More like "More fortunate" players. Also, chances are it will be like "Looney tunes" music in some scenes, and more Popeye-like in the next. IDK.

You know I don't want to poo-poo the fucking amazing animation, but I can't help but think that screen visibility is gonna be a problem, which is an especially bad thing in a boss battle focused bullet hell run and gun.

Regarding the platform problem, they were gonna be on PC back when this was announced like 4 years ago, but they're doing Xbone for now because they need the money and MS has da money.

Each and every single frame of this game is a masterpiece of retro cartoon art.

But the gameplay itself doesn't look that good. I wouldn't be getting it anyway because it's not on a platform I can do, but it doesn't look like something I'd like.

Yeah this is a problem I was expecting. A lot of people are gonna get it for the amazing art and visuals and hate it because they think the gameplay's too hard. Not to mention I don't think the devs have done a good job explaining that the game is all bosses.

I mean I love 2D shooters and the idea of an all boss shooter with a Fleschier-esque art style sounds cool so I'm like a pig in a shit but I'm expecting mixed reviews overall.
