I don't think it works that well, since hurting someone is a good way to lose them any way it may be. And that's not quite what the trope is about.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, I don't think that's an example. I think the implication is that they're "losing a boyfriend" because he's getting clobbered, not because he finds strong women unattractive.
Something like 5 and 6? Could work.
Check out my fanfiction!Pass on the Tetsuko suggestion, it's good but... nope.
Okay, so what's wrong with it? Those panels seems to get the point across really well.
It is what it is.Just don't like her dead eyes.
She doesn't really seem like an amazon.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseShe has clearly visible biceps, which is a good illustration of the trope.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYou're taking the trope name too literally.
Check out my fanfiction!OK.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseSo at the very least there seems to be an agreement that this illustrates the trope?
Heh. Possible caption: "Good. With your attitude (and vocabulary), she'd do better."
EDIT: I find it hilarious that a dating site for muscular women popped up while I made this edit.

BTW biceps is both plural and singular.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.14 is good.
Image Source. Please update whenever an image is changed.Still not liking this one, she looks like a doll and something there just freaks me right out.
Not a big fan of the art style, but it's a good illustration.
Reaction Image RepositoryWell I said it was good, act like I was being unobjective or something.
I get what you're saying. She does look right creepy. But just because she's a little odd looking doesn't mean it shouldn't be on the page though. It's what best describes the trope.
Maybe an alternative will pop up.
It is what it is.Bump; any other thoughts, or votes on 14?

I'd like more options, but 14 could work.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else
I think this Archie Comics cover◊ could work.
