So I wrote the outline of a hypothetical Question comic. In which the reason for why the Question was changed in the New 52 is revealed and Charlie comes back.

RHATO was friggin awesome.
Albeit a little slow since is establishing Jason's new status quo, Lobdell made sure every page counted and is both the perfect issue to kickstart the new series both for new readers and those like me that stuck around since the previous volume.
Lobdell managed to find a perfect middle ground between his previous characterization of Jason and the moody, angry dude from Ut RH that a LOT of people seems to wish him back. The funny thing is that aside of being slightly angrier, there's not a big difference between this Jason and the way he was at the end of RH/A. Speaking of, I'm curious if Starfire and Roy will remain a part of Jason's past or if they will be removed entirely from it. I hope is the former because if Jason needs something, is friends. And his friendship with Roy was simply the best.
Being as disappointed as I am for the current direction of Batman, it was fantastic to see him act like a parent again and show actual concern for Jason's well being and to be willing to talk instead of attacking first as it was the norm before. If nothing else, it seems his dynamic with Jason is being carried over from the previous series.
While there's superficial similarities between the directions Jason and Dick are taking right now, Jason is in a more personal quest that Dick. Choosing on his own to jump right into the darkness since he believes is what he should do, instead of taking advantage of a shitty situation like Dick. And they will certainly diverge as soon Jason meets Bizarro and Artemis and the subsequent dynamics he will develop with them. In that sense, it will be very interesting to see how different it will compared to Roy and Kori.
Going just by the recap on this issue it seems Jason's background is altered once again, this time seemingly being closer to the animated movie by resurrecting him with the Lazarus Pit and even changing the way Ut RH happened. Whereas in the original only Dick was present although he never met Jason face to face and in the glimpses the N52 gave us, Dick did face Jason. This time seems like Dick wasn't involved and his role was taken by Tim. Hopefully this will be a factor in future issues since it will certainly affect the brotherly dynamic Tim and Jason had in the N52.
Soy knocked out of the park as well with a ton of fantastic looking pages that perfectly complimented Lobdell's script. No doubt having a great colorist helped. Gandini's idea of using washed out colors so Jason's red would stand out more was a a brilliant one. I wouldn't mind if the trend continue on upcoming issues but that might clash with Artemis and Bizarro's color schemes. We'll see I guess but right now I'm pretty confident in this art team.
Oh and the best part? The expressive helmet is gone!
Anyhoo, we're off to a fantastic start and I couldn't be more happy about that.
Oh and Lobdell interview about the series

May I ask how Artemis was written?
she wasn't in it. the rebirth issue focused on jason
Titans continues much the same way it started: Brett Booth's art is bad, but the writing's really good.
And Abra Kadabra is back as a villain!
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.and still fucking wally over. except this time he made wally disappear. which was probably for the best or else he might not have the memories he has
I'd never read anything with Brett Booth as artist prior to Titans, but I like his art just fine. It reminds me somewhat of Tom Grummet's style.
I like seeing Kadabra back as a villain. Have we seen him since Flash: Rebirth (the original, pre-Flashpoint mini-series)? I know he use to mess with Wally's life a lot during Mark Waid's run. I seem to remember Kadabra being all burned and injured, or something like that.

I purchased five books today: Action Comics #960, Batgirl #1, Detective Comics #937, Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps #1, and Titans #1.
I only read Batgirl so far. I loved it.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureI just read Detective Comics #937 they actually used League of Shadows, Batman said that's just a myth the real threat is the League of Assassins.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureJMS is putting comics behind him
The article indicates he'll finish things up before then at DC, so we'll probably get a conclusion to Superman Earth One
Aw, that's too bad. He had some bad comics (Superman: Grounded was just wasted potential), but he had some great comics, too (his Brave and the Bold run was great and Midnight Nation is simply one of the best comics ever).
JMS' whole career seems to be a succession of moments where he's left disappointed by others and moments where others are left disappointed by him. And then moving on to repeat the cycle again elsewhere.

So jms is the peter molyneux of comics?
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."So right now, in terms of actual comics, DC rules, and Marvel drools.
Animation as well. So Marvel is only winning in live action shows.
One Strip! One Strip!And movies.
Don't forget DC has video games too.
I mean granted most of the praise comes from the Arkham Series but there all good regardless & they also have the Injustice series.
Hopefully the new Spider-Man game & whatever Marvel has in development evens the score.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Marvel is also still doing great in variety of trade paperback collections, although DC is catching up. Marvel has better paper quality consistently? If that matters to anyone besides me? (Seriously I don't understand why the latest Invasion printing is on such terrible paper.)
Actually IIRC DC has always sold more collections than Marvel(or pretty much anyone else in the business). It's the reason everyone thinks there'll never be a DC Unlimited service.
So if Terra were to return, what role should she play, hero or villain?
Which Terra? Assuming you mean Tara Markov, I would absolutely say she should be a villain.
Still not embarrassing enough to stan billionaires or tech companies.Yes Tara Markov. May I ask why you think she should be a villain?
Yes, that was my point.
