Changed without discussion, but they're both pretty good. Just not sure what we want to go with:

The trope is a lot more obvious in the mouse-with-sign picture.

To begin with, Western Animation has its own subpage, so both of them fit there rather than here. I'm not really that fond of either, though.

Trying to think of examples but many are animated, guess someone could have a root through some of the examples for one which lampshades this thing.

The second one is better because the relevant part of the picture takes up much more space than the first one and is the first thing that the reader notices. In the second one, the face is what draws the most attention.

Put the Family Guy one on Western Animation subpage, keep the PATB one on the main page.

...And now I feel old.

Also, I prefer the Pinky And The Brain image for reasons mentioned above.

PATB is the superior image.

I like treelo's suggestion.

As a side note, if I was old enough to know what Pinky And The Brain was, why wouldn't I know what a VCR was? Just poking fun.

That, and it's far harder to tell if you're being sarcastic online or not or if you're joking or not, which is why examples that are rhetorical questions aren't allowed on this Wiki and is one of the reasons the tropes Sarcasm Mode and Humor Mode exists on this Wiki.

No, actually, they should never be used like that.

[up]Strange. Humor Mode implies that it can be (the sentence "With this, you can mark a text to show that you are, well, just joking." comes to mind), and Sarcasm Mode doesn't say outright that it's banned (it asks you if the sarcasm's visible without it, and if it isn't, asking you if there's a reason to pothole to it. "After all, you don't pothole to Sincerity Mode every time you mean what you say.")

On-topic, I do not have a preference regarding the images in the OP.

Using Sarcasm Mode in the forum to clarify your post is fine. Sinkholing it on the wiki itself is frowned upon.

Because of the clock and the minimum number of live action suggestions here, I found this list of 30 freeze frame movie Easter eggs, if anybody else cares to go through it with me.

one that particularly sticks out to me is this pacman maze in the command console screen in Tron.

Inclined to agree with @7 here. Support moving the Family Guy one to the subpage and keeping the PATB one.

[up] Pacman's good, but not better than PATB in my opinion. Could it go on the film subpage?

[up] It can go on the film subpage.

My mistake if I didn't make it clear, I also second using PATB too.

The TRON pic would be great for the film subpage.
