Did you go to the website? It's a F 2 P game that focuses around customizing starships and engaging in dogfights with other players.
The listed gamemodes are FFA, Team Dogfight (sounds like deathmatch), and Base Defense (defend your base or attack the enemy's).
Ugh, PVP. Pass.
Yeah, it being primarily online PVP gives me a hit against it too.
Still, it looks like a pretty neat idea. I hope there's a mode/stage that forces the players into some kind of Trench Run.

The "constant updates" part is really attractive too. As is the customization. I look forward to seeing the builds for TIE Fighters that make them not flying death traps.

^^^^ Dunno. I played mostly Rogue Squadron, which was awesome but mostly wide open areas with several locations, and Battlefront 2, which was also awesome but had absolutely no variety in space battles.
