Honest Trailers

To be honest, I thought all the problems in Age of Ultron were already there in the first movie. I like them well enough, but I definitely agree about the overload of quippage.

Age of Ultron had it's own issues in addition to whatever flaws the first Avengers film had.

My only issue that I thought was unique to Ao U was that There was no reason for Quicksilver to be killed off.

I don't agree with that being Age of Ultron's sole unique flaw(or really much of a flaw at at), so we must not only be using different metrics, but are rather accepting of certain other things in the film.

I still have a problem with seeing the crows from Dumbo as racist, unless you just think having animal characters coded black is racist in and of itself.

One of them was named Jim.

Jim Crow.

That's no more racist than a cat with a black face and some white around the eyes and muzzle called Blackface!

You referring to the whole Black Widow/sterilizing subplot?

Not really, rather that entire romance subplot was itself a flaw due to how out of left field it was. The sterilizing point isn't actually a part of the flaw in my opinion, though I believe the delivery of it was a flaw.

So, 2 separate flaws right there.

Yeah, I definitely understand what Black Widow try to say; Bruce said he was sterile, so she was sympathizing with him.

It's just that delivery was...yeah...

Clunky as hell?

For me the problem with comparing the two as weapon is that Hulk is not one, he is more a force of nature with very little short temper, While Natasha is in control the whole time.

I meant she can adopt kids, make a new life and go away, Bruce? he is one call of duty online game to Hulk a city by himself, VERY diferent stuff.

You know, it would be sweet but also intensely tragic if either Hawkeye or his wife (or worse, both) dies and she becomes an unofficial parent to their kids.

I actually didn't mind the romance.

But yeah I agree, the delivery was pretty clunky. I got the intent behind the scene though.

Could someone explain to me what was wrong with that scene like they were explaining it to someone who's too stupid to understand?

The scene got misinterpreted by some as Widow saying "Because I can't get pregnant, I'm a monster."

Ah.

So what did she mean?

'Im a monster because I was rise since i was young for the sole purpose of killing people.'

Bruce: I'm a monster in part because I can't have kids

Nat: Well I can't have kids, so either you're calling me a monster or your entire idea that not being able to have kids makes you a monster is bullshit.

That could be said but Natasha was crying and emotional in that scene, so that is not the intention.

Also it still sound clumku, all bruce have to said is "Hay Natasha, when wanda mess with your mind, did you destroy a whole city? no? them shut up please"

And now they're being Honest about Aladdin. Man they're ripping Disney apart lately.

Nice nod to that hard level of the game.

I was not expecting the "you're so much hotter than Abu" bit .

The only negative in this one is the final bit, about Jasmine's age. Age of consent in some Middle Eastern (and, btw, most European countries) is actually located between the ages of 14 and 16. I'll chalk that up to American perspectives on sexuality. So, the distance between Jasmine (16) and Aladdin (18) is actually legit, considering the setting device (and especially considering the times when the original fairy tale was written).

Well, they've flat out admitted their Frozen trailer was their most popular one. And that one's opened the door for the rest of the Disney canon to be open for riffing.

YES! YES, IT'S HERE! IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!

I wouldn't call this the best movie of the year, but damn, this is the movie that I enjoyed the most in a decade.

Yes!

God, I abhorred that movie.

It's like anti-Mad Max: Fury Road.
