Yeah, they do have points sometimes but a lot of their stuff is someone nitpicky (or things you can learn if you listen closely).
One thing I loved about this movie is Tom Cruise screaming like a little girl in some of the deaths.
Maggot! Bang! Maggot! Bang! Maggot!
Damn, it's so hilarious.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Death usually is hilarious when you know they're going to be right back up on their feet in a few seconds.
That was similarly done in Angel Beats!. Every character is already dead so when they die they come back to life pretty soon. Death is one of the greatest source of humor in that series.

Even funnier considering you know they are likely going to die again. That it is Cruise is a bonus.
That Cruise does a good job is a bonus. If you want to add malicious feelings into the mix, John Travolta's at least as big a target for it considering his behavior after Katie left Tom.
Heh, you know what this movie makes me think?
It's like playing Saving Private Ryan...with no saves...playing as Upham.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Ha. That is pretty amusing and pretty interesting to consider.
Who watches the watchmen? It's a pretty interesting movie, and it gave me an idea of how Bugs Bunny somehow made it out of all the trouble he gets in.
That was actually pretty good.
Who watches the watchmen? That trailer mashup was really good.
I'd play it.
The funniest death in the movie is when Cage failed at rolling under the truck.
I thought it was when he didn't look both ways and got run over while trying to cross the battlefield.
Funniest deaths were in the "bang! Wake up, Maggot! Bang! Wake up, Maggot! Bang! Wake up, Maggot!" montage.
So funny enough, they did not mention Cage and Rita failing to go ahead and reset when they were being chased by the military but they did introduce something else I had not realized:
After Cage's failed attempt at blackmail, General Brigham actually doesn't follow through with having Cage film the War despite him previously saying he really needed the footage to boost morale. That and how did none of the officers recognize Cage when he was essentially the Celebrity Spokesman for the war?
Movie sin is boring and what they count as "movie sins" is frankly stupid beyond reason.
Who watches the watchmen?Yeah. Like I said earlier; they do have good points sometimes but others they can be very nitpicky.
Either Brigham chose not being blackmailed instead, or he just gave Cage's role to someone else. They seem to have missed the point that Cage wasn't court-martialed, because then he could have tried to make good on his threat. He was disappeared. He and (most especially)Vretasky should have been more recognizable, though...
These videos aren't meant to be that serious. In their words they're not reviewers, but assholes.

Good. Saved me from spending watching fifteen minutes of stuff that would probably make me want to punch a hole through my television.
Which would suck as I haven't had it all that long.
edit.
Here, have a quote from a Grantland review of the film that made me chuckle.
"Edge of Tomorrow is Full Metal Jacket taking two War of the Worlds and waking up inside a version of Groundhog Day that’s been held hostage by Private Benjamin."

Yeah, I've found Cinema Sins to have decreased in quality. I much preferred their shorter, more precise videos rather than their long and extremely nitpicky ones. It just doesn't feel as funny, and instead does come across as genuine dislike for a film based on all the sins.
Considering that they have indeed stated to dislike some of the more recent films they've done these vids for, it doesn't really give a positive image of them, at least for me.
I would assume this is what happened. It couldn't have been that hard to find someone to fill Cage's role as war videographer.
@Tuefel & Librarian: You do realize that that is the joke? Cinema Sins aren't reviews, they are some sort of weird satire of review shows which whole point is to be nitpick as hell
@L Dragon: Dunno, I find the nitpicking extremely funny :p Ya seem to be overly self conscious of people saying negative things
@Tam: What, can't handle people saying bad things about things you like? Pfft, making fun of things you like is the best

Course, if this was Cinema Sins, they would automatically deem the movie as "bad" due to nitpicks.
