Love the strip in general, but the latest strip just takes the cake. Truth is, that probably would have been a perfectly reasonable superhero name back then...

Am I the only one who CANNOT get the site to work? It used to work fine for me, but now it doesn't, on any of my computers. It's weird.

I have no problems with their site.

It's interesting how the comic started as four different artists alternating strips. (They're down to two.)

wild mass guess The reason why BGG doesn't choose a real scumbag to get herself knocked up is that she's evil, not Stupid Evil.

I guess knowing that she will regret whatever she does keeps her down to minor pranks instead of major super villany.

Started an Archive Binge on the comic thanks to the link above. Wish I'd found this thing sooner, it's pretty funny.

Looks like her two halves are converging together and are less apologetic about what the other did.

Hasn't this series fallen into Unwanted Harem and become what it's mocked?

Thank you for reminding me of this strip. I love the ambiguity of this one. I can't tell if it's a threat or an overture...

And I'm not certain where you're going with the Unwanted Harem bit...

The classic trope is the one nice guy gets the harem because he has something that each woman needs. Balance, someone to talk to, or an ordinary guy who isn't part of some giant plot, respectably.

Did she ever meet her substitute spymaster?

Ee... except that Lazer Pony is only with Mary Sue. Buckaress and Distractarella have nursed a crush on him, but that's all over as best I can tell. Unless you're discussing another character?

^_^ What relationship? Although, that arc does remind me of how bad Distractarella has it for Lazer Pony... I think I confused her and Buckeress.

Has anybody cosplayed as BGG yet, or is it just not famous enough?

Sounds reasonable to me

And the idea of cosplaying as Laser Pony is oddly appealing except that I never go to conventions.

A question I've asked more than once.

I discovered this a few days ago and went on an archive binge. I'm impressed that Mary Sue is actually likeable.

Been a fan of this comic for years, and was about to make a thread when I realized we already had one.

I've been liking the more intense arc focus of the last few storylines, while I notice that sometime around the fantasy arc the writing for a lot of the characters shifted some (Lazer Pony is more of an Only Sane Man, Alex is more of a core character (with a few extra flaws now that she's part of the team), etc).
