Who is the Stranger
For the Record its not me
If we want to get really meta Rhys needs to run into Timothy... -if lilith hasn't killed him already-

@Sienna Ci Shan On your earlier comment, your credit to Burch is incorrect since he's not working on the game, just the normal Telltale writing team. Who apparently really, really like Borderlands; the amount of detail is crazy.
No time to explain... Get in the car!

I wonder if our cash in Ep. 1 carries over to Ep. 2?
Borderlands has never had much in the way of story. It's less "You can summarize with foot notes" and more "It's only made of foot notes". Some of these foot notes being:
- There used to be ancient aliens with highly advanced technology spanning the cosmos. They gone now.
- Pandora is a Death World that makes Tuchanka looks survivable. It's also ripe with alien technology that can be found in Vaults.
- Vaults are...well you know they never really explain what Vaults are. Supposedly they contain riches beyond wonder or the best alien technology. In practice the one in the first game contained Cthulhu and another Vault was a magma dragon thing you fought as the final boss in the second game.
- Vault Hunters are Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
- Pandora's flora and fauna is...not healthy for consumption. This can sometimes lead to the psychos and mutants you see. Other times it's because of big corporations like Hyperion experimented with eridium's effect one people.
- Sirens are basically women with magic powers. They are apparently a big deal because of their connection to eridium. Or something.
- Handsome Jack used to run Hyperion, but then he died.
Edit: Oh, there's a couple Lore In A Minute vids that can help a bit.

#IceBearForPresidentApparently There can only be SIX sirens in existence at a time
As of post Borderlands 2, Two sirens are dead, and of the Vault hunters introduced 3 are dead, ones been rendered non combative and two are unaccounted for

Which ones are dead?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Siren Wise, in One Commandant Steele killed by the Destroyer in one big anticlimax... apparently she was the siren Lilith was looking for. Her siren Tats are missing from her Robot zombie body. The Second Siren, Angel IE your Guardian Angel dies in 2 when you basically help her commit suicide so she can finally be free of her father... Handsome Jack. Oddly enough it doesn't slow down his plan thanks to Lilith being an idiot
Vault hunter wise, Roland is killed shortly after Angel dies at the hands of Handsome Jack. Nissa and Wilhelm are killed in 2 as bosses as they remained Jack's lackey's from the Pre-Sequel.
In existence? So if two are dead, aren't there going to be two more? Young, sure, but Tiny Tina exists and is a pretty major character.
noisivelet naht nuf erom era srorrimBorderlands and Borderlands 2 don't take place that far between each other, so more like infants. Too young to be able to do anything period so...
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Man, if Gaige and Axton don't appear in this, I am going to write Gearbox an angry letter complaining about it.
They have my favorite quotes in the game.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).You know they show up in the Holodome DLC for the Pre-Sequel, right?
- Gaige: Lilith was all like "Go hunt the Vault on Eptah!" And then "Don't kill the Vault Hunter, bring her back! WAR IS COMING!" Tch.
- Tina: Oooh. You got another Vault Hunting buddy? I wanna meet her!
- Axton: No. You don't. Aurelia is the meanest.
Oh, and Axton took over the ECHO-cast twitter account.

Haven't played it yet yay spoilers because I'm not touching the Pre-Sequel until the inevitable GOTY edition comes out. Made that mistake with Fallout 3 and Borderlands 2.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).Sorry about spoilers, but it's not as bad as it sounds out of context.
Bah, no worries, I googled it right after. It's a DLC that retells part of the story.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).SPOILERZ!
and then you died...
"Well not in the literal sense"

Ugh. I read that episode 2 was supposed to come out today, but apparently it's not going to be out for another month. Telltale!
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."... I thought it was suppose to be out by the end of January...
Telltale and them delays
I figured episode two would be out before Go T Episode 2.
The article I read had been edited like 3 times. Once to change it to January, once to change it to february, and once to change it to "We have no clue"
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yay

#IceBearForPresidentMarch 17th according to their twitter.
Even in gameplay, the characters don't differiante too much, it's always just a passive buff and one active skill. The drops completely dominate the combat.
Dressed to Kill. But enough of that, this thread is about Tales, not the whole franchise.
